FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar in Tehran, Iran (July 2019) - Report

From 25th to 29th July 2019 a FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar was organized in Tehran (Iran) by the Iran Chess Federation, under the auspices of FIDE.
The Lecturer was IA Pahlevanzadeh, Mehrdad (IRI), FIDE Lecturer and the Assistant Lecturer were IA Bayat, Shohreh (IRI) and IA Hashemi, Amir Erfan (IRI).
The language of the Seminar was English with Persian translation.
Forty-six (46) arbiters from Iran participated in the Seminar and all of them participated in the examination test, held after the end of the lectures.

Arbiters Commission (ARB) meeting in Minsk (August 2019)

arbiters commission meeting minsk2019 photo01The new FIDE Arbiters Commission held their first Councillors Meeting at the Belarus Hotel in Minsk, August 14th to 17th, during the World Cadet Rapid and Blitz Championship 2019.
The ARB members present were Laurent Freyd (Chairman), Nebojsa Baralic (Secretary), Panagiotis Nikolopoulos (Honorary Chairman), Shohreh Bayat (Councillor), Irina Gevorgyan (Councillor), Jirina Prokopova (Member) and Natalija Popova (Member).
While several members of the commission were on duty at the championship, the meeting was structured to foster ideation phases with the whole team, alternating with structuring phases in a smaller group.
The team started by reviewing the activities covered in the first 7 months of the year, foundational actions on the way to a next level of maturity: arbiters and seminars database, upcoming KPI's, licensing and title application processes, assessment of FIDE arbiter exams, update of the FIDE Arbiter Manual ...

seminar logoThe 68th Internet based FIDE Arbiters' Seminar is going to be organized from 06/09/2019 to 08/09/2019 by the Bahamas Chess Federation, under the auspices of FIDE. 
The Lecturer will be IA/IO/FI Hal Bond (CAN), FIDE Lecturer and the Assistant Lecturer will be IA/IO Aris Marghetis (CAN).
The language of the Seminar will be English.
The Seminar will give norms and titles of FIDE Arbiter, according to the Regulations for the titles of Arbiters.

FIDE ARBITERS' SEMINAR in Tashkent (Uzbekistan), September 2019

seminar logoA FIDE Arbiters' Seminar is going to be organized from 21/09/2019 to 23/09/2019 in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, by FIDE Zone 3.4 President, under the auspices of FIDE.
The venue of the Seminar will be the International Chess Academy in Tashkent.
The Lecturer will be IA Husan Turdialiev (UZB), FIDE Lecturer and the Assistant Lecturer will be IA/IO Mikhail Krjukov (RUS).
The language of the Seminar will be Russian with translation into English.
The Seminar will give norms and titles of FIDE Arbiter, according to the Regulations for the titles of Arbiters.

FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar in Bratislava, Slovakia (August 2019) - Report

bratislava august2019 pic01From 6th to 9th August 2019 a FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar was organized in Bratislava (Slovakia) by the Slovakia Chess Federation (Arbiters` Commission of Slovakia Chess Federation with European Youth Championship organizers), under the auspices of FIDE.
The Lecturer was IA Prokopova, Jirina (CZE), FIDE Lecturer and the Assistant Lecturer was IA Kadimova, Ilaha (AZE).
The language of the Seminar was English.
Seven (7) arbiters from five Federation (NED, SVK, MKD, CYP, CZE) participated in the Seminar and all of them participated in the examination test, held after the end of the lectures.
