Refreshing Course for Arbiters on Internet in Russian language

From 16 to 18 November 2015 a Refreshing Course for Arbiters in Russian language will be organized on Internet by the FIDE Arbiters' Commission.

The following subjects will be discussed:
(a) The changes of the Laws of Chess that have been in effect since 1 July 2014.
(b) The changes of FIDE Titles, Ratings Regulations that have been in effect since 1 July 2014.
(c) The Anti cheating guidelines for Arbiters that have been approved in 2014 Sochi FIDE Presidential Board and are in effect.

The sessions will be 14:00-17:00, Moscow time.

The lecturer will be IA Ashot Vardapetyan (ARM), FIDE Rules Commission Chairman and FIDE Lecturer and Technical Organizer will be IA Michail Prevenios (GRE).

The participation will be free for all International and FIDE Arbiters.

Refreshing Course for Arbiters on Internet in English language

From 3 to 5 February 2015 a Refreshing Course for Arbiters in English language was organized on Internet by the FIDE Arbiters' Commission.
The following subjects were discussed:

(a) The changes of the Laws of Chess that have been in effect since 1 July 2014.
(b) The changes of FIDE Titles, Ratings Regulations and Swiss System regulations that have been in effect since 1 July 2014.
(c) The Anti cheating guidelines for Arbiters that have been approved in 2014 Sochi FIDE Presidential Board and are in effect.

The lecturer was IA Takis Nikolopoulos (GRE), FIDE Arbiters' Commission Chairman and FIDE Lecturer and the Assistant Lecturer and Technical Organizer was IA Michail Prevenios (GRE).
The participation was free for all International and FIDE Arbiters.

Forty nine (49) Arbiters from twenty seven (27) Federations participated in the Course.

FIDE and FIDE Arbiters' Commission are going to organize on Internet a Refreshing Course for Arbiters in English language.

The following subjects will be discussed:
(a) The changes of the Laws of Chess that have been in effect since 1 July 2014.
(b) The changes of FIDE Titles, Ratings Regulations and Swiss System regulations that have been in effect since 1 July 2014.

FIDE and FIDE Arbiters' Commission are going to organize on Internet a Refreshing Course for Arbiters in Arabic language.

The following subjects will be discussed:
(a) The changes of the Laws of Chess that have been in effect since 1 July 2014.
(b) The changes of FIDE Titles, Ratings Regulations and Swiss System regulations that have been in effect since 1 July 2014.
(c) The Anti cheating regulations that will be in effect soon.

The course will be held in the period of 15-17 December 2014, 18.00 – 21.00 hours, Dubai time, every day.

The lecturer will be IA Mahdi Abdulrahim (UAE), FIDE Lecturer and Technical Organizer will be IA Michail Prevenios (GRE).

The participation will be free for all International and FIDE Arbiters.

The following subjects will be discussed:
(a) The changes of the Laws of Chess that have been in effect since 1 July 2014.
(b) The changes of FIDE Titles, Ratings Regulations and Swiss System regulations that have been in effect since 1 July 2014.
(c) The Anti cheating regulations that will be in effect soon.

The course will be held in the period 26-28 November 2014, 18.00 – 21.00 hours, Madrid time, every day.

The lecturer will be IA Jesus Mena (ESP), FIDE Lecturer and Technical Organizer will be IA Michail Prevenios (GRE).

(c) The Anti cheating regulations that will be in effect soon.

The course will be held in the period 8, 9 and 10 November 2014, 18.00 – 21.00 hours, Brussels time, every day.

Internet Refreshing Courses for Arbiters

Dear friends,

after the successful organization in 2014 of seven (7) workshops for the training of the International Arbiters, in which more than 180 Arbiters participated, FIDE and FIDE Arbiters' Commission are going to continue the training of the Arbiters by organizing Refreshing Courses on Internet.

The following subjects will be discussed in these Refreshing Courses:

(a) The changes of the Laws of Chess that have been in effect since 1 July 2014.

(b) The changes of FIDE Titles, Ratings Regulations and Swiss System regulations that have been in effect since 1 July 2014.

(c) The Anti cheating regulations that will be in effect soon.

The courses will last for three days, with one evening session of three (3) hours per day and will be in English, Russian, French, Spanish and Arabic languages.

The participation will be free for all International and FIDE Arbiters.

Announcements with details for each Course will be published on the FIDE and the FIDE Arbiters' Commission websites.
