FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar in Mandalay (June 2019) - Report

From 12 to 16 June 2019 a FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar was organized in Mandalay the Myanmar Chess Federation under the auspices of FIDE. 
The Lecturer was IA And Hamid Bin And Majid (MAS), FIDE Lecturer and the Assistant Lecturer was IA Bong Bunawan (INA).
The language of the Seminar was English.
Eleven (11) arbiters from Myanmar, Vietnam, Thailand and Singapore participated in the Seminar and all of them participated
 in the examination test, held after the end of the lectures.

FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar in Uddingston, Scotland (June 2019) - Report

seminar logoFrom 14 to 16 June 2019 a FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar was organized in Uddingston by the Chess Scotland under the auspices of FIDE. 
The Lecturer was IA Alex McFarlane (SCO), FIDE Lecturer.
The language of the Seminar was English.
Five (5) arbiters from Scotland, England and Malta participated in the Seminar and all of them participated in the examination test, held after the end of the lectures.

FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar in Tashkent (May 2019) - Report

tashkent may2019 pic01The FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar was organized by the President of Zone 3.4 FIDE and Uzbekistan Chess Federation under the auspices of FIDE and Asian Chess Federation.
Seminar took place in the International Chess Academy of Uzbekistan on May 25–28th, 2019 with participants from Afghanistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan.
In total 12 participants took part in the Seminar, 8 of them participated in the examination test.
The Lecturer’s Assistant was IA/IO Vadim Tsypin (CAN).
The language of the Seminar was Russian.
The seminar proceeded 3 days (18 hours).

FIDE Arbiters' Seminar in Antananarivo (Madagascar) - Report

antananarivo april2019 pic01A FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar was held in Antananarivo, Madagascar, by the Malagasy Chess Federation, under auspices of FIDE and ACC (April 27th - May 3rd, 2019).
The lecturer was IA MESSAOUDI, Bechirr (5501067), FIDE Lecturer.

Program of the seminar:
27.04 – Day of arrival
28.04 - Laws of Chess (including Rapid, Blitz, etc.)
29.04 Anti cheating guidelines for Arbiters
30.04 - Tournament Rules, System of Games, tie breaks
1.05- Swiss system. Pairing rules, Regulations for the rating and the over-the-board titles,
2.05 Regulations for the titles of the Arbiters, Use of the electronic clocks,
3.05 Examination test.
4.05 - Day of departure

The language of the Seminar was French with translation to English.
Seventeen (17 National Arbiters from two (2) Federations (MAD, MAW) participated in the seminar. Eight (8) of them participated in the examination test, held after the end of the lectures. Eight (8) of them passed the examination test with 80%.

The lecturer was IA Shaab, Alexander (4153758), FIDE Lecturer, and Assistant lecturer was IA Tkachev, Alexander (RUS), FIDE Lecturer.

Program of the seminar:
21.04 – Day of arrival.
22.04 - Laws of Chess (including Rapid, Blitz, etc) – Anti cheating guidelines for Arbiters
23.04 - Tournament Rules, System of Games, tie breaks.

Fifty nine (59) National Arbiters from one (1) Federations (RUS) participated in the seminar.
