64th Internet based FIDE Arbiters' Seminar - Report

seminar logo64h Internet Based FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar was held from 10th to 14th March 2019.
It was organized by the Oman Chess Committee cooperation with Asian Chess Federation, and under the auspices of FIDE.
The Lecturer was IA/IO Mahdi Abdulrahim (UAE) FIDE Lecturer, the Technical Organizer was IA Mihail Prevenios (GRE), and the observer was IA Casto Abundo (Executive director of Asian Chess Federation).
The Language of the Seminar was in Arabic. daily lectures 10th -13th March 2019, from 18.00-22.00 Dubai Time (+4 GMT). 14th March 2019 was an examination test in Arabic language and English.

FIDE Arbiters' Seminar in Colombo (Sri Lanka) - Report

2019-March-Colombo-FIDE Arbiters SeminarFrom 11-13 March 2019 a FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar was organized in Colombo by the Sri Lanka Chess Federation under the auspices of FIDE.
The venue of the Seminar was the National Institute of Sport Science in Colombo.
The Lecturer was IA Casto Abundo (PHI), FIDE Lecturer and Assistant Lecturer was IA Luxman Wijesuriya (SRI).
The language of the Seminar was English.
Thirty four (34) Arbiters from Sri Lanka participated in the Seminar and all of them participated in the examination test, held after the end of the lectures.

FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar in Tashkent - Report

2019-March-Tashkent-FIDE Arbiters Seminar-01The FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar was organized by the President of Zone 3.4 FIDE and Uzbekistan Chess Federation under the patronage of Asian Chess Federation and under the auspices of FIDE.
Seminar took place in the International Chess Academy of Uzbekistan on 12 – 14th March 2019 with participants from Afghanistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan. In total 15 arbiters took part in the Seminar.
The Lecturer was IA and IO Husan Turdialiev (UZB).
The Lecturer’s Assistant was IA and IO Mikhail Krjukov (RUS).
The Representative person from host Federation was Manager of Uzbekistan Chess Federation Irina Gevorgyan.
The seminar proceeded 3 days (18 hours).

FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar in Singapore - Report

20190212 singapore arbiters seminarFrom 25 to 27 January 2019 a FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar was organized in Singapore by the Singapore Chess Federation under the auspices of FIDE.
The venue of the Seminar was the Singapore Intellectual Games Center, in Singapore.
The Lecturer was IA Casto Abundo (PHI), FIDE Lecturer and Assistant Lecturers were IA Nisban Jasmin (SGP) and IA Tan Tian Wah (SGP).
The language of the Seminar was English.
Thirteen (13) Arbiters from Singapore, China and Malaysia participated in the Seminar and all of them participated in the examination test, held after the end of the lectures.

62nd Internet based FIDE Arbiters' Seminar - Report

seminar logoFrom 5-9 December 2018, the 62nd Internet based FIDE Arbiters' Seminar was organized by the Chess Confederation of America and under the auspices of FIDE.
The Lecturer of the seminar was IA Santiago Garcia Ramos (MEX), FIDE Lecturer, and the Technical Organizer was IA Jorge Vega Fernandez (GUA).
The lectures were in Spanish language.
Thirty (30) people from twelve (12) federations (VEN, ARG, HON, NCA, PER, COL, ARU, CHI, GUA, BOL, PAN and ECU) participated in the Seminar and twenty three (23) of them participated in the examination test, held after the end of the lectures.
The following succeeded in the test and they will be awarded a norm for the title of the FIDE Arbiter, after the approval of the next FIDE Congress:
