From 17 to 22 April 2013 a FIDE Arbiters' Seminar was organized in Sochi, Russia, by the Russian Chess Federation and under the auspices of FIDE.

The Lecturer was IA Alexander Shaab (RUS), FIDE Lecturer, and Assistant Lecturer was FA Andrey Beletsky (RUS).

The language of the Seminar was Russian.

Fifteen (15) National arbiters from Russia participated in the Seminar and five (5) of them took part in the examination test that was held after the lectures.

The following succeeded in the test and they will be awarded a FA Norm, after the approval of the next FIDE Presidential Board:

From 9 to 14 April 2013 the 25th Internet based FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar was held, organized by the Confederation of Chess for America in cooperation with the Chess Federation of Costa Rica and under the auspices of FIDE.

The lecturer of the seminar was IA Santiago Garcia Ramos (MEX).

The Lectures were in Spanish language.

Eight (8) Arbiters from Peru, Spain, Mexico and Dominican Republic attended the seminar on Internet.

The following succeeded in the test and will be awarded a norm for the title of FIDE Arbiter, after the approval of the next FIDE Presidential Board:

From 18 to 22 April 2013 a FIDE Arbiters' Seminar was organized in Patna, India, by the All India Chess Federation and under the auspices of FIDE.

The Lecturer was IA Casto Abundo (PHI), Asian Chess Federation Deputy President and FIDE Lecturer. Assistant Lecturers were IA Prof. R. Anatharam (IND) and IA Dharmendra Kumar (IND).

The lectures were in the English language.

Nine (9) people from various parts of India participated in the Seminar and in the examination test held after the lectures. The following succeeded in the test and they will be awarded a FIDE Arbiter Norm, after the approval of the next FIDE Presidential Board:

From 27 to 30 November 2012 a FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar was organized in Al Ain, UAE, by the Al Ain Chess Club, in cooperation with the Asian Chess Federation and under the auspices of FIDE.

The Lecturer was IA Casto Abundo (PHI), ACF Deputy President and FIDE Lecturer and Assistant Lecturer was IA Mehrdad Pahlevanzadeh (IRI), ACF Treasurer and FIDE Lecturer.

The language of the Seminar was English.

22 people from UAE, Ukraine, Oman, Iran, Jordan, Syria, Egypt and Iraq participated in the Seminar and in the examination test, held after the end of the lectures.

The following succeeded in the test and they will be awarded a norm or the FIDE Arbiter title, after the approval of the next FIDE presidential Board:
