69th Internet based FIDE Arbiters' Seminar - Report

seminar logo69th Internet Based FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar was held from 29th November to 2nd December 2019.
It was organized by the Chess Federation of Canada, under the auspices of FIDE.
The Lecturer was IA/IO Hal Bond (CAN), FIDE Lecturer and the Assistant Lecturer was IA Shohreh Bayat (IRI). Technical Organizer was IA/IO Patrick McDonald (CAN).
The Language of the Seminar was in English.
Twenty three (23) participants are registered from fifteen (15) deferent federations attend the seminar, there were from ITA, USA, GER, NED, IND, ISR, CHN, LBN, NOR, LTU, SWE, BLR, RUS, TUR and CAN. All of them attended the exam. Seventeen (17) of them passed the examination test with 80%, which was held after the end of the lectures.

FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar in Bamako, Mali (November 2019) - Report

bamako november2019 pic01From 29th November to 2nd December 2019, a FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar was organized in Bamako, Mali, by the Malian Chess Federation, under the auspices of FIDE.
The Lecturer was IA/IO/FT Messaoudi, Bechir (TUN), FIDE Lecturer.
The language of the Seminar was French with translation into English.
Thirty one (31) arbiters from Mali and Mauritania participated in the Seminar and twenty four (24) of them participated in the examination test, held after the end of the lectures.

70th Internet based FIDE Arbiters' Seminar - Report

seminar logo70th Internet Based FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar was held from 24th to 29th November 2019.
It was organized by the FIDE Women’s Commission (WOM), under the auspices of FIDE.
The Lecturer was IA/IO Abdulrahim, Mahdi (UAE), FIDE Lecturer and Chairman of Rules Commission, the Assistant Lecturer was IA/IO El Husseiny, Mohamed (EGY), FIDE Arbiters Consular. The Organizer was Ilaha Kadimova (AZE), Secretary of FIDE Women Commission. Technical Organizer was IA Mihail Prevenios (GRE), and the observer was Mr. Hassan Khaled (EGY), Rules Commission Consular.
The Language of the Seminar was in Arabic.
Fifty (50) participants are registered from twelve (12) deferent Arab federations attend the seminar, there were from ALG, BRN, TUN, JOR, OMA, KSA, PLE, LBA, LBN, IRQ, MAR, and EGY. Thirty-eight (38) of them attended the exam. Seven (29) of them passed the examination test with 80%, which was held after the end of the lectures.

FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar in Doha, Qatar (November 2019) - Report

doha november2019 pic01From 6th to 9th November 2019, a FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar was organized in Doha, Qatar, by the Qatar Chess Association, under the auspices of FIDE.
The Lecturer was IA Pahlevanzadeh, Mehrdad (IRI), FIDE Lecturer and the Assistant Lecturer was IA Ibrahim, Yousef Khalil (QAT).
The language of the Seminar was English with translation into Arabic.
Twenty (20) arbiters from eight federations (IND, PHI, SYR, EGY, DOM, KEN, FID and QAT) participated in the Seminar and nineteen (19) of them participated in the examination test, held after the end of the lectures.

FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar in Ashgabat, Turkmenistan (November 2019) - Report

ashgbat november2019 pic01From 13th to 16th November 2019 a FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar was organized in Ashgabat, Turkmenistan, by the Turkmenistan Chess Federation, under the auspices of FIDE.
The venue of the Seminar was the Chess Academy Ashgabat.
The Lecturer was IA/IO Turdialiev, Husan (UZB), FIDE Lecturer and the Assistant Lecturer was IA/IO Krjukov, Mikhail (RUS).
The language of the Seminar was Russian with translation into English.
The participation fee for a limited number of female participants will be covered by WOM from OIC funding.
Twenty three (23) arbiters from Turkmenistan participated in the Seminar and twenty (20) of them participated in the examination test, held after the end of the lectures.
