FIDE Arbiters Seminar-Monrovia LIBERIA  2016-2

From 3 to 7 May 2016 a FIDE Arbiters' Seminar was organized in Monrovia, Liberia, by the Liberian Chess Federation, in cooperation with the Africa Chess Confederation and under the auspices of FIDE.

The lecturer was IA Omar Salama (ISL), FIDE Lecturer.

The lectures were in English language.

Twenty seven (27) people from Liberia and Ivory Coast participated in the Seminar and eighteen (18) of them participated in the examination test, held after the end of the lectures.
The following succeeded in the test and will be awarded the FIDE Arbiter title after the approval of the next FIDE Congress:

FIDE Arbiters Seminar-Makkah SAUDI  ARABIA 2016
From 4 to 7 May 2016 a FIDE Arbiters' Seminar was organized in Mekkah, Saudi Arabia, by the Saudi Chess Association, in cooperation with the Asian Chess Federation and Hijaz Chess Club and under auspices of FIDE.

The Lecturer of the seminar was IA Mahdi Abdulrahim (UAE), FIDE Arbiters' Commission Councilor and FIDE Lecturer and Assistant Lecturer was FA Yaser Motlaq Al Otaibi (KSA).

The venue of the Seminar was the Reef International Hotel in Mekkah.

The lectures were in Arabic language.

Twenty two (22) people from Saudi Arabia, Morocco, Egypt, Tunisia, Yemen and Lebanon participated in the Seminar and nineteen (19) of them participated in the examination test, held after the end of the lectures.
The following succeeded in the test and they will be awarded a norm for the title of the FIDE Arbiter, after the approval of the next FIDE Congress:

seminar logoOn 6, 7 and 13 February 2016 the 46th Internet based FIDE Arbiters' Seminar was held, organized by the Chess IQ Academy (USA) and under the auspices of FIDE.

The Lecturer and Technical Organizer of the seminar was IA/IO Sevan Muradian (USA), Secretary of the FIDE Rules Commission and FIDE Lecturer and Assistant Lecturer was IA Ken Ballou (USA)

The language of the Seminar was English.

Twenty one (21) people from 7 Federations (USA, India, Iran, Ghana, South Africa, Italy and Spain) participated in the on line Lectures and twenty (20) of them participated in the examination test.

The following succeeded in the test and will be awarded a norm for the title of FIDE Arbiter, after the approval of the next FIDE Presidential Board:

The Lecturer of the seminar was IA Carol Jarecki (IVB), FIDE Lecturer and Assistant Lecturer was IA Boyd Reed (USA).

The venue of the Seminar was the Las Vegas Chess Club.

The lectures were in English language.

Six (6) National Arbiters from USA participated in the Seminar and all of them participated in the examination test, held after the end of the lectures.
The following succeeded in the test and they will be awarded a norm for the title of the FIDE Arbiter, after the approval of the next FIDE Congress:

The Lecturer was IA Artiom Akhmetov (RUS), FIDE Lecturer .

The language of the Seminar was Russian.

Sixteen (16) National arbiters from Russia participated in the Seminar and six (6) of them took part in the examination test that was held after the lectures.
