FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar in Beirut, LEBANON

seminar logoFrom 19 to 26 September 2015 a FIDE Arbiters' Seminar was organized in Beirut, Lebanon, by the Amicale Notre Dame Chess Club, in cooperation with the Lebanese Chess Federation and under auspices of FIDE.

The venue of the Seminar was the Amicale Notre Dame Chess Club, in Beirut.

The lecturer was IA Takis Nikolopoulos (GRE), Chairman of the FIDE Arbiters' Commission and FIDE Lecturer.

13 people from Lebanon participated in the Seminar.
All of them participated in the examination test, held after the end of the lectures and the following succeeded in the test and will be awarded a norm for the title of the FIDE Arbiter, after the approval of the next FIDE Presidential Board:

FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar in Bishkek, KYRGYZSTAN

seminar logoFrom 2 to 4 October 2015 a FIDE Arbiters' Seminar was organized in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, by the Kyrgyzstan Chess Federation, in cooperation with the Asian Chess Federation and under the auspices of FIDE.

The venue of the Seminar was the Jannat regency Hotel (5*).

The lecturer was IA Ashot Vardapetyan (ARM), FIDE Rules Commission Chairman and FIDE Lecturer and Assistant Lecturer was IA Husan Turdialiev (UZB), FIDE Lecturer.

The lectures were in Russian language.

Thirty one (31) Arbiters from Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan participated in the Seminar. Sixteen (16) of them participated in the examination test, held after the end of the lectures and the following succeeded in the test and will be awarded a norm for the FIDE Arbiter title and after the approval of the next FIDE Presidential Board:

seminar logoFrom 30 September to 1 October 2015 a FIDE Arbiters' Seminar was organized in Gold Coast, Australia, by Chess Association of Queensland, in cooperation with the Australian Chess Federation and FIDE Arbiters' Commission under the auspices of FIDE.

The venue of the Seminar was the Helensvale Community Centre, Helensvale, Gold Coast, Australia.

The lecturers were IA N Y Wong (SIN) and IA Peter Tsai (AUS).
The lectures were in English language.

Eleven (11) people from Australia participated in the seminar and all of them participated in the examination test held after the lectures.

seminar logoFrom 11th to 13th September 2015 a FIDE Arbiters' Seminar was organized in Preston, England, by the UK Chess Arbiters' Association, in association with the English Chess Federation and the Chess Scotland and under the auspices of FIDE.

The venue of the Seminar was the Legacy Preston International Hotel, Marsh Lane, Preston, ENGLAND, PR1 2FY

The Lecturer was IA David Welch (ENG), FIDE Lecturer, and the Assistant Lecturer was IA Lara Barnes (ENG).

The lectures were in the English language.

Nine (9) people from England participated in the Seminar and eight (8) off them participated in the examination test held after the lectures.
The following succeeded in the examination test and will be awarded a norm for the title of FIDE Arbiter after the approval of the next FIDE Presidential Board:

FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar in Panama City, PANAMA

seminar logoFrom 11th to 13th September 2015 a FIDE Arbiters´ Seminar was organized in Panama City, Panama, by the Panama Chess Federation and the Commission for Women´s Chess, under the auspice of FIDE.

The lecturer was IA Barbara Lopez Chavez Marino (CUB), FIDE Lecturer and Assistant lecturer was FA Roquelina Fandino Reyes (CUB).

The lectures were given in Spanish language.

Eighteen (18) people from Panama and Cuba participated in the Seminar.

All of the participants took an examination test that was held at the end of the lectures. The following succeeded in the test and will be awarded a norm for the FIDE Arbiter title and after the approval of the next FIDE Congress:
