FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar in Rosenheim, GERMANY

seminar logoFrom 11 to 14 June 2015 a FIDE Arbiters' Seminar was organized in Rosenheim, Germany, by the German Chess Federation and under auspices of FIDE.

The venue of the Seminar was the Hotel Hoehensteiger in Rosenheim.

The Lecturer of the Seminar was IA Klaus Deventer (GER), Member of the FIDE Arbiters' Commission and FIDE Lecturer and Assistant Lecturers were IA Ralph Alt (GER) and IA Dr. Juergen Klueners (GER).

The lectures were in German language.

Sixteen (16) National Arbiters from Germany participated in the seminar. All of them participated in the examination test, held after the end of the lectures.
The following succeeded in the test and will be awarded a norm for the FIDE Arbiter title, after the approval of the next FIDE Congress:

2015 SINGAPORE FIDE Arbiters  Seminar
From 2 to 6 June 2015 a FIDE Arbiters' Seminar was held in Singapore, organized by the Singapore Chess Federation, in cooperation with the Asian Chess Federation and under the auspices of FIDE.

The lecturer of the Seminar was IA Takis Nikolopoulos (GRE), Chairman of the FIDE Arbiters' Commission and FIDE Lecturer and Assistant Lecturer was IA Ignatius Leong (SIN), FIDE Lecturer.

The language of the Seminar was English.

Eleven (11) Arbiters from Singapore, China, Macau, South Korea and Vietnam attended the seminar and all of them participated in the examination test held after the lectures.

The following succeeded in the test and will be awarded a norm or the title of the FIDE Arbiter, after the approval of the next FIDE Congress:

FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar in Doha, QATAR

From 28 to31 May 2015 a FIDE Arbiters' Seminar was organized in Doha, Qatar, by the Qatar Chess Association, in cooperation with the Qatar Olympic Academy and under auspices of FIDE.

The lecturer was IA Mahdi Abdulrahim (UAE), FIDE Arbiters' Commission Councilor and FIDE Lecturer and Assistant lecturer was IA Michael Shadarevian (SYR).

The seminar was held in the venue of Qatar Olympic Academy in Doha.

The lectures were in Arabic and in English language.

Seventeen (17) Arbiters from Qatar, Russia, Moldova, Yemen, Iraq, Syria, Kazakhstan and Egypt participated in the Seminar and fourteen (14) of them participated in the examination test, held after the end of the lectures.
The following succeeded in the test and according to the article 3.10 of the regulations for the titles of Arbiters they will be awarded a norm or the title of the FIDE Arbiter, after the approval of the next FIDE Congress:

seminar logoFrom 29 May to 1 June 2015 a FIDE Arbiters' Seminar was organized in Dushanbe, Tajikistan, by the Tajikistan Chess Federation, in cooperation with the Asian Chess Federation and under the auspices of FIDE.

The lecturer was IA Ashot Vardapetyan (ARM), FIDE Rules Commission Chairman and FIDE Lecturer and Assistant Lecturer was IA Husan Turdialiev (UZB), FIDE Lecturer.

The lectures were in Russian language.

Thirteen (13) Arbiters from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan participated in the Seminar. Twelve (12) of them participated in the examination test, held after the end of the lectures and the following succeeded in the test and will be awarded a norm for the FIDE Arbiter title and after the approval of the next FIDE Congress:

42nd INTERNET based FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar

seminar logoFrom 25 May to 2 June 2015 the 42nd Internet based FIDE Arbiters' Seminar was held, organized by the FIDE Arbiters' Commission and under the auspices of FIDE.

The lecturer of the Seminar was IA Jesus Mena (ESP), Councilor of the FIDE Arbiters' Commission and FIDE Lecturer, and Assistant Lecturer and Technical Organizer was IA Mihail Prevenios (GRE), FIDE Lecturer.

The language of the Seminar was Spanish.

Twenty four (24) people from seven (7) Federations (ESP, PAN, COL CUB, VEN, PER, DOM) attended the seminar on Internet and twenty two (22) of them participated in the on line examination test.

The following succeeded in the test and will be awarded a norm for the title of FIDE Arbiter, after the approval of the next FIDE Presidential Board:
