ARBITERS’ COMMISSION 37th Internet based FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar

seminar_logoFrom 7 to 9 March 2014 the 37th Internet based FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar was held, organized by the FIDE Arbiters’ Commission in cooperation with the Swaziland Chess Federation and under the auspices of FIDE.

 

The Lecturer and Technical Organizer of the Seminar was IA Mihail Prevenios (GRE), FIDE Lecturer.

 

The language of the Seminar was English.

 

Seventeen (17) people from three (3) Federations (Swaziland, Mozambique and Botswana)   attended the seminar on Internet and fifteen (15) of them participated in the on line examination test.

 

The following succeeded in the test and will be awarded the title of FIDE Arbiter, after the approval of the next FIDE Presidential Board:

FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar in Honiara, SOLOMON ISLANDS

seminar_logoFrom 28 to 30 January 2014 a FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar was organized in Honiara, SOLOMON ISLAND, by the Asian Chess Federation in cooperation with the Solomon Islands Chess Federation and under auspices of FIDE.

 

The lecturer was IA Casto Abundo (PHI), Asian Chess Federation Deputy President and FIDE Lecturer and Assistant lecturer was FA Jamie Kenmure (AUS).

 

The lectures were in English language.

 

14 people from Malta, Fiji and Solomon Islands participated in the Seminar and in the examination test, held after the end of the lectures and the following succeeded in the test and will be awarded a norm or the title of the FIDE Arbiter title and after the approval of the next FIDE Presidential Board:

32nd BRAZIL Internet based FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar

seminar_logoFrom 30 January to 10 February 2014 the 32nd Internet based FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar was held, organized by the Brazilian Chess Federation and under the auspices of FIDE.

 

The lecturer of the seminar was IA Antonio Bento (BRA), FIDE Lecturer.

The Technical Organizer was GM Darcy Lima (BRA).

 

The Lectures were in Portuguese language.

 

Thirteen (13) Arbiters from Brazil attended the seminar on Internet.

 

The following succeeded in the test and will be awarded a norm for the title of FIDE Arbiter, after the approval of the next FIDE Presidential Board:

FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar in Shamkir, AZERBAIJAN

seminar_logoFrom 2 to 5 January 2014 a FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar was organized in Shamkir, Azerbaijan, by the Azerbaijan Chess Federation, under auspices of FIDE.

 

The lecturer was IA Faik Gasanov (AZE), FIDE Lecturer and Assistant Lecturer was IA Gudrat Ismailov (AZE).

 

The lectures were in Russian language, with translation in to Azerbaijan.

 

Twenty (20) National Arbiters from Azerbaijan participated in the Seminar.

 

All of them participated in the examination test, held after the end of the lectures and the following succeeded in the test and will be awarded a norm for the FIDE Arbiter title and after the approval of the next FIDE Presidential Board:

seminar_logoFrom 18 to 23 February 2014 the 36th Internet based FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar was held, organized by the FIDE Arbiters’ Commission and under the auspices of FIDE.

 

The lecturer of the Seminar was IA Ashot Vardapetian (ARM), FIDE Lecturer, and Technical Organizer was IA Mihail Prevenios (GRE).

 

The language of the Seminar was Russian.

 

Thirty nine (39) Arbiters from Russia, Armenia, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Moldova, Uzbekistan, Ukraine, Lithuania and Latvia attended the seminar on Internet and thirty five (35) of them participated in the on line examination test.
