51st INTERNET based FIDE ARBITERS’ SEMINAR (in English language)

seminar logoFrom 26 June to 1 July 2017 the 51st Internet based FIDE Arbiters' Seminar was held, organized by the FIDE Arbiters' Commission and under the auspices of FIDE.

The lecturer of the seminar was IA Takis Nikolopoulos (GRE), FIDE Arbiters' Commission Chairman and FIDE Lecturer and Assistant Lecturer and Technical Organizer was IA Mihail Prevenios (GRE), FIDE Lecturer

The Lectures were in English language.

Twenty eight (28) people from thirteen (13) Federations (AHO, GRE, USA, PHI, NGR, MDV, DEN, NOR, ISL, ITA, RSA, ISR and SRB) attended the seminar on Internet and participated in the examination test held after the lectures.

The following succeeded in the test and will be awarded a norm for the title of FIDE Arbiter, after the approval of the next FIDE Congress:

FIDE Arbiters  Seminar-Amman JORDAN 2017

From June 12th to 15th, 2017 a FIDE Arbiters´ Seminar was organized in Amman, Jordan by the Asian Chess Federation, in cooperation with the Royal Jordanian Chess Federation and under the auspices of FIDE.

The lecturer was IA Casto Abundo (PHI), FIDE Lecturer.

The lectures were given in English with translation to Arabic.

Thirteen (13) people from Jordan participated in the Seminar.
Ten (10) of them took an examination test that was held at the end of the lectures.
The following succeeded in the test and will be awarded a norm for the FIDE Arbiter title after the approval of the next FIDE Presidential Board or Congress:

From 30 to 31 May 2017 a FIDE Arbiters' Seminar was organized in Cebu City, Philippines, by the National Chess Federation of Philippines in cooperation with the Asian Chess Federation and under auspices of FIDE.

The lecturer was IA Casto Abundo (PHI), FIDE Lecturer.

The lectures were in English language.

Nine (9) people from Philippines participated in the Seminar

Seven (7) of them participated in the examination test, held after the end of the lectures and the following succeeded in the test and will be awarded a norm for the FIDE Arbiter title and after the approval of the FIDE Presidential Board:

From May 29th to June 4th, 2017 a FIDE Arbiters´ Seminar was organized in Varadero City, Matanzas, Cuba, under the auspices of FIDE.

The lecturer was IA Barbara Lopez Chavez Marino (CUB). FIDE Lecturer and Assistant lecturer was IA Roquelina Fandino Reyes (CUB) and IA Josep Maria Benitez Delgado (ESP).

The lectures were given in Spanish language.

Sixteen (16) people from Cuba and Ecuador participated in the Seminar.
All of the participants took an examination test that was held at the end of the lectures. The following succeeded in the test and will be awarded a norm for the FIDE Arbiter title and after the approval of the next FIDE Presidential Board or Congress:

From 23 to 27 May 2017 a FIDE Arbiters' Seminar was organized in Moscow, Russia, by the Russian State Social University and the Russian Chess Federation and under the auspices of FIDE.

The lecturer was IA Artiom Akhmetov (RUS), FIDE Lecturer.

Five (5) National Arbiters from Russia and Kazakhstan participated in the Seminar and all of them participated in the examination test held after the lectures.
The following succeeded in the test and they will be awarded a FA Norm, after the approval of the next FIDE Presidential Board:
