FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar in Abidjan, IVORY COAST

FIDE Arbiters Seminar-Abijan COTE D IVOIRE 2017

From 26 to 29 October 2017 a FIDE Arbiters' Seminar was organized in Abidjan, Ivory Coast, by the Ivory Coast Chess Federation and under the auspices of FIDE.

The venue of the Seminar was the Olympic Village for the Francophone Games, in Abidjan.

The lecturer was IA Stephen Boyd (FRA), FIDE Lecturer and Assistant Lecturer was IA Lekan Adeyemi (NGR).

The lectures were in French and in English language.

Fifteen (15) Arbiters from Ivory Coast, Togo, Ghana, Nigeria and Sao Tome and Principe participated in the Seminar and in the examination test, held after the end of the lectures.

The following succeeded in the test and will be awarded a norm or the title of FIDE Arbiter, after the approval of the next FIDE Presidential Board:

seminar logoFrom 24 to 29 October 2017 the 54th Internet based FIDE Arbiters' Seminar was held, organized by the Honduras Chess Federation, in cooperation with the Chess Confederation for America and under the auspices of FIDE.

The lecturer of the seminar was IA Santiago Garcia Ramos (MEX), FIDE Lecturer
The technical Organizer will be IA Hector Mejia Espinal (HON).

The Lectures were in Spanish language.

Eleven (11) Arbiters from Spain, Mexico, Chile, Honduras, Guatemala and Peru attended the seminar on Internet and participated in the examination test held after the lectures.

The following succeeded in the test and will be awarded a norm for the title of FIDE Arbiter, after the approval of the next FIDE Congress:

FIDE Arbiters Seminar-Manama BAHRAIN 2017-1

From 25 to 29 October 2017 a FIDE Arbiters' Seminar was organized in Manama, BAHRAIN, by the Bahrain Mind Sports Association, in cooperation with the Asian Chess Federation and under auspices of FIDE.

The Lecturer of the seminar was IA Mahdi Abdulrahim (UAE), FIDE Arbiters' Commission Councilor and FIDE Lecturer.

The venue of the Seminar was the Ramada Amwaj Hotel in Manama.

The lectures were in Arabic language.

Twenty six (26) people from Bahrain, Syria, Saudi Arabia, Iraq and Palestine, participated in the Seminar and all of them participated in the examination test, held after the end of the lectures.
The following succeeded in the test and they will be awarded a norm for the title of the FIDE Arbiter, after the approval of the next FIDE Presidential Board:

2017 HUNGARY FIDE Arbiters  Seminar-1

From 29 September to 1 October 2017 a FIDE Arbiters´ Seminar was organized in Budapest, Hungary, by the Hungarian Chess federation and under the auspices of FIDE.

The lecturer was IA Werner Stubenvoll (AUT), Chairman of the FIDE Qualification Commission and FIDE Lecturer and Assistant lecturer was IA Miklos Orso (HUN).

The lectures were given in English language with Hungarian translation.

Fourteen (14) people from Hungary, Italy and Slovakia participated in the Seminar.
All of the participants took an examination test that was held at the end of the lectures.
The following succeeded in the test and will be awarded a norm for the FIDE Arbiter title and after the approval of the next FIDE Congress:
