FIDE Arbiters' Seminar in Eforie Nord, ROMANIA

From 1 to 3 September 2014 a FIDE Arbiters' Seminar was organized in Eforie Nord, Romania, by the Romanian Chess Federation and under the auspices of FIDE.

2014 ROMANIA FIDE Arbiters Seminar
The Lecturer was IA Igor Verechagin (RUS), FIDE Lecturer, and Assistant Lecturer was IA Dinu-Ioan Nicula (ROU).

Eight (8) Arbiters from Romania participated in the Seminar and in the examination test held after the lectures. The following succeeded in the test and they will be awarded a FA Norm, after the approval of the next FIDE Presidential Board:

FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar in Windhoek, NAMIBIA

2014 FIDE Arbiters Seminar-Windhoek NAMIBIA
From 12 to 14 September 2014 a FIDE Arbiters' Seminar was organized in Windhoek, Namibia, by the Namibian Chess Federation, under the auspices of FIDE.

The lecturer was IA Werner Stubenvoll (AUT), FIDE Lecturer.

The lectures were in English language.

Fourteen (14) people from Namibia participated in the Seminar and all of them participated in the examination test, held after the end of the lectures. The following succeeded in the test and will be awarded the title of the FIDE Arbiter, according to the article 3.10 of the regulations for the titles of Arbiters and after the approval of the next FIDE Presidential Board:

FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar in Tromso, NORWAY

seminar_logoFrom 3 to 10 August 2014, during the 41th Chess Olympiad, a FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar was organized in Tromso, Norway, by the FIDE Arbiters’ Commission in cooperation with the Norwegian Chess Federation and under the auspices of FIDE.

 

The seminar was held in the venue of the Olympiad, in the DVIR Building.

 

The lecturer was IA Dirk De Ridder (BEL), Secretary of the FIDE Arbiters’ Commission and FIDE Lecturer, and Assistant Lecturer was IA Jamie Kenmure (AUS).

 

The lectures were in English language.

 

Twenty eight (28) people from Norway, Botswana, Fiji, Ghana, Guam, Guyana, Malawi, Ireland, Pakistan, Palau, Poland, Rwanda, Togo, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Yemen, Mongolia, Georgia and Netherland Antilles participated in the Seminar and twenty two (22) of them participated in the examination test, held after the end of the lectures. The following succeeded in the test and will be awarded a norm or the title of the FIDE Arbiter (according to the article 3.10 of the regulations for the titles of Arbiters), after the approval of the next FIDE Presidential Board:

COMMISSION for WOMEN’S CHESS 34th Internet based FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar

seminar_logoFrom 22 to 27 July 2014 the 34th Internet based FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar was held, organized by the Commission for Women’s Chess, under the auspices of FIDE.

 

The lecturer of the seminar was IA Santiago Garcia Ramos (MEX), FIDE Lecturer.

The Technical Organizer was WGM Martha Fierro.

 

The Lectures were in Spanish language.

 

Thirty five (35) people from Panama, Chile, Argentina, Venezuela, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Cuba, USA, Mexico, Spain, Peru, Dominican Republic, Honduras, Greece and Ukraine attended the seminar on Internet and took the examination test.

 

The following succeeded in the test and will be awarded a norm for the title of FIDE Arbiter, after the approval of the next FIDE Congress:

33rd Internet based FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar

seminar_logoFrom 9 to 13 June 2014 the 33rd Internet based FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar was held, organized by the Chess Educators of USA and under the auspices of FIDE.

 

The Lecturer and Technical Organizer of the seminar was IA/IO Sevan Muradian (USA), FIDE Lecturer.

 

The language of the Seminar was English.

 

8 people from USA attended the seminar on Internet and all of them participated in the examination test held after the end of the lectures.

 

The following succeeded in the test and will be awarded a norm for the title of FIDE Arbiter, after the approval of the next FIDE Congress:
