ARBITERS’ COMMISSION 36th Internet based FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar

seminar_logoFrom 18 to 23 February 2014 the 36th Internet based FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar was held, organized by the FIDE Arbiters’ Commission and under the auspices of FIDE.

 

The lecturer of the Seminar was IA Ashot Vardapetian (ARM), FIDE Lecturer, and Technical Organizer was IA Mihail Prevenios (GRE).

 

The language of the Seminar was Russian.

 

Thirty nine (39) Arbiters from Russia, Armenia, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Moldova, Uzbekistan, Ukraine, Lithuania and Latvia attended the seminar on Internet and thirty five (35) of them participated in the on line examination test.

 

The following succeeded in the test and will be awarded a norm for the title of FIDE Arbiter, after the approval of the next FIDE Presidential Board:

FIDE Arbiters' Seminar in Moscow, RUSSIA

seminar_logoFrom 2 to 5 February 2014 a FIDE Arbiters' Seminar was organized in Moscow, Russia, by the Russian Chess Federation and under the auspices of FIDE.

 

The lecturer was IA Andrzej Filipowicz (POL), Chairman of the FIDE Technical Commission and FIDE Lecturer, and Assistant Lecturer was IA, Artiom Akhmetov (RUS).

 

Twenty five (25) National Arbiters from Russia and Turkmenistan participated in the Seminar and ten (10) of them participated in the examination test held after the lectures.

The following succeeded in the test and they will be awarded a FA Norm, after the approval of the next FIDE Presidential Board:

FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar in Al Ain, UAE

seminar_logoFrom 19 to 27 December 2013 a FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar was organized in Al Ain, UAE, by the FIDE Arbiters’ Commission in cooperation with the Organizing Committee of the World Youth Championships 2013 and under the auspices of FIDE.

 

The lecturer was IA Werner Stubenvoll (AUT), FIDE Arbiters’ Commission Councilor and FIDE Lecturer.

 

The lectures were in English language.

 

Twenty seven (27) people from USA, Norway, Uzbekistan, Kenya, Burundi, Palau, Zimbabwe, Bahrain, Iraq, Palestine and Somalia participated in the Seminar and twenty four (24) of them participated in the examination test, held after the end of the lectures.

The following succeeded in the test and will be awarded a norm or the title of the FIDE Arbiter, after the approval of the next FIDE Presidential Board:

The Lecturer and Technical Organizer of the seminar was IA/IO Sevan Muradian (USA), FIDE Lecturer.

 

The language of the Seminar was English.

 

18 people from Spain, Bahamas, Turkey, India, Canada, Australia, Pakistan, USA, Brazil, Israel, Singapore and Tanzania attended the seminar on Internet and 16 of them participated in the examination test held after the end of the lectures.
