FIDE Arbiters' Seminar in Chennai, INDIA

seminar_logoFrom 10 to 13 November 2013 a FIDE Arbiters' Seminar was organized in Chennai, India, by the All India Chess Federation and under the auspices of FIDE.

 

The Lecturer was IA Ignatius Leong (SIN), FIDE General Secretary and FIDE Lecturer, and Assistant Lecturer was IA Prof. R. Anatharam (IND).


The lectures were in the English language.

 

Thirty four (34) people from various parts of India participated in the Seminar and in the examination test held after the lectures. The following succeeded in the test and they will be awarded a FIDE Arbiter Norm, after the approval of the next FIDE Presidential Board:

FIDE Arbiters' Seminar in Barnaul, RUSSIA

seminar_logoFrom 3 to 6 November 2013 a FIDE Arbiters' Seminar was organized in Barnaul, Russia, by the Russian Chess Federation and under the auspices of FIDE.

 

The Lecturer was IA Alexander Shaab (RUS), FIDE Lecturer, and Assistant Lecturer was IA Alexander Khasin (RUS).

 

The language of the Seminar was Russian.

 

Twenty two (22) National arbiters from Russia and Kazakhstan participated in the Seminar and five (5) of them took part in the examination test that was held after the lectures.

The following succeeded in the test and they will be awarded a FA Norm, after the approval of the next FIDE Presidential Board:

FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar in PANAMA

seminar_logoFrom 30 October to 5 November 2013 a FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar was organized in Panama, by the Panama Chess Federation, in cooperation with the Commission for Women’s Chess and under the auspices of FIDE.

 

The lecturer was IA Serafin Chuit Perez (CUB), FIDE Lecturer and Assistant lecturer was IA Barbara Lopez Chavez Marino (CUB).

 

The lectures were in Spanish language.

 

15 people (11 women) from Panama, Venezuela, Cuba and Costa Rica participated in the Seminar.

 

All of them participated in the examination test, held after the end of the lectures and the following succeeded in the test and will be awarded a norm for the FIDE Arbiter title and after the approval of the next FIDE Presidential Board:

From 1 to 5 November 2013 a FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar was organized in Kiev, Ukraine, by the Ukrainian Chess Federation,

under auspices of FIDE.

The lecturer was IA Oleg Tovchyga (UKR), FIDE Lecturer and Assistant Lecturer was IA Yuriy Gnyp (UKR).

The lectures were in Russian language.

12 National Arbiters from Ukraine and Moldova participated in the Seminar

All of them participated in the examination test, held after the end of the lectures and the following succeeded in the test

From 31 October to 3 November 2013 a FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar was organized in Bendern, Liechtenstein, by the Swiss Chess Federation, under the auspices of FIDE.

 

The lecturer was IA Werner Stubenvoll (AUT), FIDE Arbiters’ Commission Councilor and FIDE Lecturer and Assistant Lecturer was IA Albert Baumberger (SUI).

 

The lectures were in German language.

 

Eleven (11) National Arbiters from Austria, Germany, Liechtenstein and Switzerland participated in the Seminar and all of them participated in the examination test, held after the end of the lectures.

The following succeeded in the test and will be awarded a norm for the title or the FIDE Arbiter, after the approval of the next FIDE Congress:
