On 28 and 29 September 2013 a FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar was organized in Bordeaux, France, by the French Chess Federation and under the auspices of FIDE.

 

The venue of the Seminar was the Restaurant d' enterprise du CE SNCF, in Bordeaux.

 

The lecturer was IA Stephen Boyd (FRA), FIDE Lecturer and Assistant Lecturer was IA Emmanuel Variniac (FRA).

The lectures were in French language.

 

26 people from France participated in the Seminar and in the examination test, held after the end of the lectures and the following succeeded in the test and will be awarded a norm for the title or the FIDE Arbiter, after the approval of the next FIDE Presidential Board:

FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar in Budva, MONTENEGRO

seminar_logoFrom 30 September to 3 October 2013 a FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar was organized in Budva, Montenegro by the Chess Federation of Montenegro and under the auspices of FIDE.

 

The venue of the Seminar was the conference room of Hotel “Slovenska Plaza”.

 

The lecturers were IA Vladimir Sakotic (MNE) and IA Sava Stoisavljevic (SRB)

 

The lectures were in the English language with Montenegrian translations when necessary.

 

13 people from 7 Federations (ALB, BIH, ISL, MDA, MNE, ROU and SRB) participated in the Seminar.

All of them participated in the examination test, held after the end of the lectures and the following succeeded in the test and will be awarded a norm or the FIDE Arbiter title and after the approval of the next FIDE Presidential Board:

seminar_logoFrom 2 to 7 October 2013 a FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar was organized in Tallinn, Estonia, by the Estonian Chess Federation, under auspices of FIDE.

 

The venue of the Seminar was the Keres House, in Tallinn.

 

The lecturer was IA Panagiotis Nikolopoulos (GRE), Chairman of the FIDE Arbiters’ Commission and FIDE Lecturer and Assistant Lecturer was FA Marek Kolk (EST).

 

The lectures of the Seminar were in English language.

 

Six (6) people from Estonia participated in the Seminar.

Five (5) of them participated in the examination test, held after the end of the lectures and the following succeeded in the test and will be awarded a norm for the FIDE Arbiter title and after the approval of the next FIDE Presidential Board:

28th HONDURAS Internet based FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar

seminar_logoFrom 30 July to 4 August 2013 the 28h Internet based FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar was held, organized by the Confederation of Chess for America in cooperation with the Chess Federation of Honduras and under the auspices of FIDE.

 

The lecturer of the seminar was IA Santiago Garcia Ramos (MEX).

 

The Lectures were in Spanish language.

 

Fifteen (15) Arbiters from Honduras, Costa Rica and El Salvador attended the seminar on Internet.

 

The following succeeded in the test and will be awarded a norm for the title of FIDE Arbiter, after the approval of the next FIDE Congress:

From 5 to 10 August 2013 a FIDE Arbiters' Seminar was organized in St. Petersburg, Russia, by the Russian Chess Federation and under the auspices of FIDE.

 

The lecturer was IA Tkachev, Alexander (RUS), FIDE Lecturer.

 

Twelve (12) National Arbiters from Russia participated in the Seminar and in the examination test held after the lectures.

The following succeeded in the test and they will be awarded a norm for the FIDE Arbiter title, after the approval of the next FIDE Congress:
