25th COSTA RICA Internet based FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar

seminar_logoFrom 9 to 14 April 2013 the 25th Internet based FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar was held, organized by the Confederation of Chess for America in cooperation with the Chess Federation of Costa Rica and under the auspices of FIDE.

 

The lecturer of the seminar was IA Santiago Garcia Ramos (MEX).

 

The Lectures were in Spanish language.

 

Eight (8) Arbiters from Peru, Spain, Mexico and Dominican Republic attended the seminar on Internet.

 

The following succeeded in the test and will be awarded a norm for the title of FIDE Arbiter, after the approval of the next FIDE Presidential Board:

Patna2013Seminar

From 18 to 22 April 2013 a FIDE Arbiters' Seminar was organized in Patna, India, by the All India Chess Federation and under the auspices of FIDE.

 

The Lecturer was IA Casto Abundo (PHI), Asian Chess Federation Deputy President and FIDE Lecturer. Assistant Lecturers were IA Prof. R. Anatharam (IND) and IA Dharmendra Kumar (IND).


The lectures were in the English language.

 

Nine (9) people from various parts of India participated in the Seminar and in the examination test held after the lectures. The following succeeded in the test and they will be awarded a FIDE Arbiter Norm, after the approval of the next FIDE Presidential Board:

FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar in Al Ain, UAE

seminar_logoFrom 27 to 30 November 2012 a FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar was organized in Al Ain, UAE, by the Al Ain Chess Club, in cooperation with the Asian Chess Federation and under the auspices of FIDE.

The Lecturer was IA Casto Abundo (PHI), ACF Deputy President and FIDE Lecturer and Assistant Lecturer was IA Mehrdad Pahlevanzadeh (IRI), ACF Treasurer and FIDE Lecturer.

 

The language of the Seminar was English.

 

22 people from UAE, Ukraine, Oman, Iran, Jordan, Syria, Egypt and Iraq participated in the Seminar and in the examination test, held after the end of the lectures.

The following succeeded in the test and they will be awarded a norm or the FIDE Arbiter title, after the approval of the next FIDE presidential Board:

From 22 to 27 March 2013 a FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar was organized in Khartoum, Sudan, by the Sudan Chess Federation and under the auspices of FIDE.

The lecturer was IA Hassan Khaled (EGY), Member of the FIDE Arbiters’ Commission and FIDE Lecturer.

The venue of the Seminar was the Olympic Center in Khartoum.

The lectures were in Arabic language.

21 Arbiters from Sudan participated in the Seminar and in the examination test, held after the end of the lectures. The following succeeded in the test and will be awarded the FIDE Arbiter title of the FIDE Arbiter (according to the article 3.10 of the regulations for the titles of Arbiters) and after the approval of the next FIDE Congress:

seminar_logoFrom 8 to 12 April 2013 the 23rd Internet based FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar was held, organized by the FIDE Arbiters’ Commission and under the auspices of FIDE.

 

The lecturer of the Seminar was IA Werner Stubenvoll (AUT), FIDE Arbiters’ Commission Councilor and FIDE Lecturer, and Technical Organizer was IA Mihail Prevenios (GRE).

 

The language of the Seminar was English.

 

Twenty three (23) people from thirteen (13) Federations (Tunisia, Turkey, Greece, Austria, Mauritius, USA, South Africa, Netherlands, Indonesia, France, Botswana, Kazakhstan and Nigeria ) attended the seminar on Internet and twenty (20) of them participated in the on line examination test.

 

The following succeeded in the test and will be awarded a norm or the title of FIDE Arbiter, after the approval of the next FIDE Presidential Board:
