FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar in Rishon Letzion, ISRAEL

seminar_logoFrom 3 to 5 June 2015 a FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar was organized in Rishon Letzion, Israel, by the Israel Chess Federation, under auspices of FIDE.

The lecturer was IA Almog Burstein (ISR), Member of the FIDE Technical Commission and FIDE Lecturer. The assistant lecturers were IA's Malkiel Peretz and Shlomo Kandelshine.

Twelve (12) Arbiters from Israel participated in the Seminar.


All of them participated in the examination test, held after the end of the lectures and the following succeeded in the test and will be awarded a norm for the FIDE Arbiter title after the approval of the next FIDE Congress:

COMMISSION for WOMEN’S CHESS 27th Internet based FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar

seminar_logoFrom 25 to 30 June 2013 the 27th Internet based FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar was held, organized by the Commission for Women’s Chess, under the auspices of FIDE.

 

The lecturer of the seminar was IA Santiago Garcia Ramos (MEX), FIDE Lecturer.

The Technical Organizer was WGM Martha Fierro.

 

The Lectures were in Spanish language.

 

Nineteen (19) women from Colombia, Ecuador, Venezuela, México, Nicaragua, Cuba, Peru, Argentina, Costa Rica, Uruguay, Brazil and Haiti attended the seminar on Internet and took the examination test.

 

The following succeeded in the test and will be awarded a norm for the title of FIDE Arbiter, after the approval of the next FIDE Congressd:

ARBITERS’ COMMISSION 26th Internet based FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar

seminar_logoFrom 24 to 30 June 2013 the 26th Internet based FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar was held, organized by the FIDE Arbiters’ Commission in cooperation with the Africa Chess Union and under the auspices of FIDE.

 

The lecturer of the Seminar was IA Panagiotis Nikolopoulos (GRE), Chairman of the FIDE Arbiters’ Commission and FIDE Lecturer, and Technical Organizer was IA Mihail Prevenios (GRE).

 

The language of the Seminar was English.

 

Forty five (45) people from twenty one (21) Federations (Tunisia, Turkey, Greece, Mauritius, USA, Botswana, Kazakhstan, Nigeria, Algeria, Burundi, Comoros Island, Egypt, Ghana, Kenya, Mauritania, Rwanda, Bulgaria, Jamaica, Bahamas, Canada and Philippines ) attended the seminar on Internet and thirty seven (37) of them participated in the on line examination test.

 

The following succeeded in the test and will be awarded a norm or the title of FIDE Arbiter, after the approval of the next FIDE Congress:

From 182 to 22 June 2013 a FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar was organized in Ureki, Georgia, by the Georgian Chess Federation, under auspices of FIDE.

 

The lecturer was IA Ashot Vardapetian (ARM), Member of the FIDE Arbiters’ Commission and FIDE Lecturer.

 

The lectures were in Russian language.

 

Fifteen (15) Arbiters from Georgia, Armenia and India participated in the Seminar

 

All of them participated in the examination test, held after the end of the lectures and the following succeeded in the test and will be awarded a norm for the FIDE Arbiter title and after the approval of the next FIDE Congress:

FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar in Thessaloniki, GREECE

seminar_logoFrom 24 to 26 May 2013 a FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar was organized in Thessaloniki, Greece, by the Greek Arbiters’ Committee, in cooperation with the Thessaloniki-Halkidiki Chess Union and the Greek Chess Federation, under the auspices of FIDE.

The venue of the Seminar was the hall of the GALAXIAS Chess Club in Thessaloniki.

The lecturer was IA Vyron Tsorbatzoglou (GRE), FIDE Lecturer, and Assistant lecturers were IA Argiris Kitharidis (GRE) and IA Ioannis Mitrou (GRE).

Seven (7) National Arbiters from Greece participated in the Seminar.
