ARBITERS’ COMMISSION 21st Internet based FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar

seminar_logoFrom 19 to 25 November 2012 the 21st Internet based FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar was held, organized by the FIDE Arbiters’ Commission and under the auspices of FIDE.

 

The lecturer of the Seminar was IA Ashot Vardapetian (ARM), FIDE Lecturer, and Technical Organizer was IA Mihail Prevenios (GRE).

 

The language of the Seminar was Russian.

 

Forty three (43) people from Russia, Armenia, Kazakhstan, Germany, Kyrgyzstan and Ukraine attended the seminar on Internet and thirty five (35) of them participated in the on line examination test.

 

The following succeeded in the test and will be awarded a norm for the title of FIDE Arbiter, after the approval of the next FIDE Presidential Board:

FIDE Arbiters' Seminar in Suzdal, RUSSIA

seminar_logoFrom 24 to 27 November 2012 a FIDE Arbiters' Seminar was organized in Suzdal, Russia, by the Russian Chess Federation and under the auspices of FIDE.

 

The Lecturer was IA Alexander Tkachev (RUS), FIDE Lecturer, and Assistant Lecturer was IA Alexander Ivanov (RUS).

 

The language of the Seminar was Russian.

 

Ten (10) national arbiters from Russia and Azerbaijan participated in the Seminar and five (5) of them took part in the examination test held after the lectures.

The following succeeded in the test and they will be awarded a FA Norm, after the approval of the next FIDE Congress:

FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar in Novokuznetsk, RUSSIA

seminar_logoFrom 5 to 8 November 2012 a FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar was organized in Novokuznetsk, Russia, by the Russian Chess Federation and under the auspices of FIDE.

The lecturer was IA Alexander Shaab (RUS), FIDE Lecturer, and Assistant lecturers were IA Alexander Khasin (RUS) and Maxim Ivakhin (RUS).

The lectures were in Russian language.

Fourteen (14) National Arbiters from Russia and Kazakhstan participated in the Seminar and seven (7) of them participated in the examination test, held after the end of the lectures. The following succeeded in the test and will be awarded a norm for the FIDE Arbiter title and after the approval of the next FIDE Presidential Board:

19th Internet based FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar

seminar_logoFrom 22 to 26 October 2012 the 19th Internet based FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar was held, organized by the North American Chess Association and under the auspices of FIDE.

 

The Lecturer and Technical Organizer of the seminar was IA/IO Sevan Muradian (USA), FIDE Lecturer.

 

The language of the Seminar was English.

 

22 people from Austria, Italy, Turkey, Trinidad and Tobago, Uganda, USA, Netherlands and South Africa attended the seminar on Internet and all of them participated in the examination test held after the end of the lectures.

 

The following succeeded in the test and will be awarded a norm for the title of FIDE Arbiter, after the approval of the next FIDE Presidential Board:

FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar in La Habana, CUBA

seminar_logoFrom 14 to 18 November 2012 a FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar was organized in La Habana, Cuba, by the Cuban Chess Federation in cooperation with the Commission for Women’s Chess and under the auspices of FIDE.

 

The lecturer was IA Serafin Chuit Perez (CUB), FIDE Lecturer and Assistant lecturer was IA Barbara Lopez Chavez Marino (CUB).

 

The lectures were in Spanish language.

 

32 women from Cuba, Ecuador and Costa Rica participated in the Seminar.

 

All of them participated in the examination test, held after the end of the lectures and the following succeeded in the test and will be awarded a norm for the FIDE Arbiter title and after the approval of the next FIDE Presidential Board:
