PERU 4th Internet based FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar

seminar_logoFrom 1 to 6 March 2011 the 4th Internet based FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar was held, organized by the Confederation of Chess for America in cooperation with the Chess Federation of Peru, and under the auspices of FIDE.

The lecturer of the seminar was IA Santiago Garcia (MEX).

The Technical Organizer was Dr. Milton Iturry Quinonez (PER).

The Lectures were presented through a web-conferencing platform and lasted for 28 hours.

Ten (10) Arbiters from various cities of Peru attended the seminar on Internet.

The following four (4) succeeded in the test and will be awarded a norm for the title of FIDE Arbiter, after the approval of the next FIDE Presidential Board:

FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar in Tashkent, UZBEKISTAN

From 23 to 25 March 2011 a FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar was organized in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, by the Uzbekistan Chess Federation, under auspices of FIDE.

The lecturer was IA Ashot Vardapetian (ARM), Member of the FIDE Arbiters’ Commission and FIDE Lecturer and Assistant lecturer was IA Husan Turdialiev (UZB).

The lectures were in Russian language.

20 Arbiters from Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan and Armenia participated in the Seminar

18 of them participated in the examination test, held after the end of the lectures and the following succeeded in the test and will be awarded a norm for the FIDE Arbiter title and after the approval of the next FIDE Presidential Board:

seminar_logoFrom 7 to 13 March 2011 a FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar was organized in Jakarta, Indonesia, by the Indonesian Chess Federation, under auspices of FIDE.

The lecturer was IA Ignatius Leong (SIN), FIDE General Secretary and FIDE Lecturer and Assistant lecturer was IA/IO Bunawan (INA).

seminar_logoFrom 2 to 5 February 2011 a FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar was organized in Plovdiv, Bulgaria, by the Bulgarian Chess Federation, under auspices of FIDE.

The venue of the Seminar was the Conference Hall of the “NOVOTEL” Hotel.

The lecturers were IA Vladimir Sacotic (MNE) and IA Sava Stoisavljevic (SRB), FIDE Lecturers and Assistant lecturers were IA Zdravko Nedev (BUL) and IA Rumen Angelov (BUL).

The lectures were in English language.

17 people from 3 Federations (BUL, CRO and MNE) participated in the Seminar.

All of them participated in the examination test, held after the end of the lectures and the following succeeded in the test and will be awarded a norm for the FIDE Arbiter title and after the approval of the next FIDE Presidential Board:

FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar in Mecca, SAUDI ARABIA

From 1 to 5 February 2011 a FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar was organized in Mecca, Saudi Arabia, by the Arab Chess Federation, in cooperation with Saudi Chess Club and under the auspices of FIDE.

The lecturer was IA Mahdi Abdulrahim (UAE), Councilor of the FIDE Arbiters’ Commission and FIDE Lecturer.

The lectures were in Arabic language.

25 people from 10 Federations (KSA, SOM, EGY, SYR, MTN, TUR, SUD, AFG, INA and BAN) participated in the Seminar

17 of them participated in the examination test, held after the end of the lectures and the following succeeded in the test and will be awarded a norm or the FIDE Arbiter title (according to the art. 3.10 of the Regulations of the titles of Arbiters) and after the approval of the next FIDE Presidential Board:
