2018 RUSSIA-SOCHI FIDE Arbiters Seminar-1

From 21 to 25 April 2018 a FIDE Arbiters' Seminar was organized in Sochi, Russia, by the Russian Chess Federation and under the auspices of FIDE.

The Lecturer was IA Alexander Tkachev (RUS), FIDE Lecturer and Assistant lecturer was IA Vladimir Staratorzhskiy (RUS).

The language of the Seminar was Russian.

Eighty seven (87) National arbiters from four (4) federations (Russia, Czech Republic, Kazakhstan and Ukraine) participated in the Seminar and thirty nine (39) of them took part in the examination test that was held after the lectures.

The following succeeded in the test and they will be awarded a FA Norm, after the approval of the next FIDE presidential Board:

2018 ALBANIA FIDE Arbiters Seminar

A FIDE Arbiters' Seminar is going to be organized from 23 to 27 April 2018 in Durres, Albania, by the FIDE Arbiters' Commission, in cooperation with the Albanian Chess Federation and under the auspices of FIDE.

The venue of the Seminar was the "FA FA Resort" Hotel, in Durres.

The Lecturer was IA Jamie Kenmure (AUS), FIDE Lecturer and the Assistant Lecturers were IA Argiris Kitharidis (GRE). Alexandros Iskos (GRE) and IA Margit Brokko (EST)

The lectures were in English language.

Twenty five (25) National Arbiters from Albania, Kosovo, Romania, Poland and South Africa participated in the seminar. All of them participated in the examination test, held after the end of the lectures.

The following succeeded in the test and will be awarded a norm for the FIDE Arbiter title, after the approval of the next FIDE Presidential Board:

2018 UZBEKISTAN FIDE Arbiters Seminar-1

From 24 to 27 April 2018 a FIDE Arbiters' Seminar was organized in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, by the Uzbekistan Chess Federation, in cooperation with the Asian Chess Federation and under the auspices of FIDE.

The lecturer was IA Takis Nikolopoulos (GRE), Chairman of the FIDE Arbiters' Commission and FIDE Lecturer, and Assistant lecturer was IA Husan Turdialiev (UZB).

The venue of the Seminar was the Chess Academy of Uzbekistan, in Tashkent.

The lectures were in English language with translation into Russian language.

Thirteen (13) Arbiters from Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Afghanistan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan participated in the Seminar. Eleven (11) of them participated in the examination test, held after the end of the lectures and the following succeeded in the test and will be awarded a norm or the title of the FIDE Arbiter and after the approval of the next FIDE Presidential Board:

2018 NEPAL FIDE Arbiters Seminar

From 17 to 19 April 2018 a FIDE Arbiters' Seminar was organized in Kathmandu, Nepal by the Nepal Chess Association in cooperation with the Asian Chess Federation and under the auspices of FIDE.

The venue of the Seminar was the Golden Gate College.

The Lecturer of the Seminar was IA Casto Abundo (PHI), FIDE Lecturer and Assistant Lecturer was IA Khaiju Gyanendra (NEP).

The lectures were in English language.

Seventeen (17) National Arbiters from Nepal participated in the seminar. All of them participated in the examination test, held after the end of the lectures.

The following succeeded in the test and will be awarded a norm for the FIDE Arbiter title, after the approval of the next FIDE Congress:
