FIDE Arbiters Seminar-Jeddah SAUDI ARABIA  2018-1

From 8 to 12 May 2018 a FIDE Arbiters' Seminar was organized in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, by the Saudi Chess Association, in cooperation with the Asian Chess Federation and the Leadership Institute and under the auspices of FIDE.

The Lecturer of the seminar was IA Yaser Motlaq Al Otaibi (KSA), FIDE Lecturer and Assistant Lecturer was Ahmad Belali (KSA).

The venue of the Seminar was the Green Arena in Jeddah.

The lectures were in Arabic language.

Fifty eight (58) people from Saudi Arabia participated in the Seminar and forty nine (49) of them participated in the examination test, held after the end of the lectures.

The following succeeded in the test and they will be awarded a norm for the title of the FIDE Arbiter, after the approval of the next FIDE Presidential Board or Congress:

2018 IRAN FIDE Arbiters Seminar-1

From 5 to 9 May 2018 a FIDE Arbiters' Seminar was organized in Tehran, Iran, by the Iran Chess Federation and under the auspices of FIDE.

The Lecturer was IA Mehrdad Pahlevanzadeh (IRI), FIDE Lecturer and Assistant Lecturer was IA Shohreh Bayat (IRI).

The venue of the Seminar was the Conference Hall of the Iranian Chess Federation, in Tehran.

The language of the Seminar was English with translation in Persian.

Thirty four (34) Arbiters from Iran participated in the Seminar and all of them took part in the examination test, held after the end of the lectures.

The following succeeded in the test and will be awarded a norm for the FA title after the approval of the Seminar by the next FIDE Presidential Board:

From 12 to 13 May 2018 a FIDE Arbiters' Seminar was organized in Suresnes, France, by the National Arbiters' Council, in cooperation with Culture Echecs Chess Clubs and the French Chess Federation and under the auspices of FIDE.

The venue of the Seminar was the Culture Echecs Club in Suresnes.

The lecturer was IA Laurent Freyd (FRA), FIDE Lecturer and Assistant Lecturer was IA Dominique Dervieux (FRA).

The lectures were in French language.

Fourteen (14) Arbiters from two federations (France and Italy) participated in the Seminar and thirteen (13) of them took part in the examination test, held after the end of the lectures.

The venue of the Seminar was the Kaazmein Lodge and Resort Hotel, in Livingstone.
