FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar in Gold Coast, Australia (July 2019) - Report

gold coast july2019 pic01The FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar was organized by the Chess Association of Queensland under the auspices of FIDE.
The seminar took place in The Glades Golf Club, Robina in Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia on July 2 and 3, 2019.
The Lecturer was IA Dr Peter Tsai FIDE Lecturer (AUS) and the Assistant Lecturer was IA Kerry Stead (AUS).
The language of the Seminar was English.
A total of 11 participants from Australia and Iran took part in the Seminar and participated in the examination.

FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar in Saint Quentin, France (June 2019) - Report

saint quentin june2019 pic01From 18th to 30th June 2019 a FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar was organized in Saint Quentin by the French Chess Federation, under the auspices of FIDE.
This seminar was the first one within the new arbiter's framework of the French Chess Federation (FFE), hence the duration is expected to be an equivalent of 4 days of training. Half of the seminar was held online over 2 weeks and a half in Saint Quentin during a full weekend (29-30 June), with positive feedback from participants on the new pedagogical approach.
The final weekend was opened in presence of Bachar Kouatly, President of the FFE and Deputy President of FIDE.
The Lecturer was IA Laurent Freyd (FRA), FIDE Lecturer and the Assistant Lecturer was IA Pierre Lapeyre (FRA).
The language of the Seminar was French.
Thirteen (13) arbiters from France, Belgium and Switzerland participated in the Seminar and all of them participated in the examination test, held after the end of the lectures.

FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar in Baku, Azerbaijan (June 2019) - Report

baku june2019 pic01The FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar was organized by the Chess Federation of Azerbaijan under the auspices of FIDE and the personal patronage of the FIDE Vice-President Mahir Mammedov.
The seminar took place in the office building of the Chess Federation of Azerbaijan on June 23-27, 2019. A total of 29 participants from Azerbaijan and Georgia took part in the Seminar, 21 of them participated in the examination test.
The Chief Lecturer was IA/FL Faig Gasanov (AZE). The Assistant Lecturer was IA/IO Vadim Tsypin (CAN).
The language of the Seminar was Russian, with translation into Azeri available on demand.

65th Internet based FIDE Arbiters' Seminar - Report

seminar logo65th Internet Based FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar was held from 11th to 17th June 2019.
It was organized by the Chess Confederation for America, and under the auspices of FIDE.
The Lecturer was IA Santiago Garcia Ramos (MEX) FIDE Lecturer, the Technical Organizer was IA Jorge Vega Fernandez (GUA).
The Language of the Seminar was in Spanish.
Thirty (30) participants are registered from twelve (12) deferent federations attend the seminar, there were from ARG, CHI, COL, CRC, CUB, DOM, ESA, GUY, HON, NCA, PAN and VEN. Twenty-Two (22) of them attended the exam. Seven (7) of them passed the examination test with 80%, which was held after the end of the lectures.

seminar logo63rd Internet Based FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar was held from 23th to 30th April 2019.
It was organized by the Chess Federation of Mexico in cooperation with the Iberoamerican Federation for Chess, and under the auspices of FIDE.
The Lecturer was IA Santiago Garcia Ramos (MEX) FIDE Lecturer.
The Language of the Seminar was in Spanish.
Four (4) participants are registered from four (4) deferent federations attend the seminar, there were from ESP, MEX, USA and BOL. All of them attended the exam. One (1) of them passed the examination test with 80%, which was held after the end of the lectures.
