FIDE Arbiters' Seminar in Sochi, RUSSIA

2016 RUSSIA-SOCHI  2 FIDE Arbiters Seminar

From 6 to 10 December 2016 a FIDE Arbiters' Seminar was organized in Sochi, Russia, by the Russian Chess Federation and under the auspices of FIDE.

The Seminar was organized during the 2016 World Schools Chess Championships.

The lecturer was IA Alexander Tkachev (RUS), FIDE Lecturer and Assistant lecturers were IA Alexander Ivanov (RUS).

The language of the Seminar was Russian.

Ten (10) arbiters from five (5) Federations (Russia, Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan) participated in the Seminar and seven (7) of them took part in the examination test that was held after the lectures.
The following succeeded in the test and they will be awarded a FA Norm, after the approval of the next FIDE Congress:

FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar in Khartoum, SUDAN

FIDE Arbiters  Seminar-Khartoum SUDAN 2016

From 2 to 6 November 2016 a FIDE Arbiters' Seminar was organized in Khartoum, Sudan, by the Sudan Chess Federation, in cooperation with the Arab Chess Federation and under the auspices of FIDE.

The lecturer was IA Hassan Khaled (EGY), FIDE Lecturer and Assistant Lecturer was FA Omer Musa (SUD).

The lectures were in Arabic language.

Twenty three (23) people from Sudan and Iraq participated in the Seminar.
Nineteen (19) of them participated in the examination test, held after the end of the lectures and the following succeeded in the test and will be awarded a norm for the FIDE Arbiter title and after the approval of the next FIDE Congress:

47th HONDURAS Internet based FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar

From 1 to 6 November 2016 the 47th Internet based FIDE Arbiters' Seminar was held, organized by the Chess Federation of Honduras and under the auspices of FIDE.

seminar logoThe lecturer of the seminar was IA Santiago Garcia Ramos (MEX), FIDE Lecturer and the Technical Organizer was IA Hector Mejia Espinal (HON).

The Lectures were in Spanish language.

Twelve (12) Arbiters from nine (9) federations (Spain, Argentina, Costa Rica, Honduras, Japan, Dominican Republic, Netherland Antilles, Chile and Mexico) attended the seminar on Internet and participated in the examination test held after the lectures.

The following succeeded in the test and will be awarded a norm for the title of FIDE Arbiter, after the approval of the next FIDE Congress:

From 6 to 10 November 2016 a FIDE Arbiters' Seminar was organized in Samara region, Russia, by the Russian Chess Federation and under the auspices of FIDE.

The venue of the Seminar was the sanatorium Tsiolkovsky in Samara.

The lecturer was IA Alexander Tkachev (RUS), FIDE Lecturer, and Assistant Lecturer was IA Stanislav Yanusevsky (RUS).

Twenty (20) National Arbiters from Russia participated in the Seminar and eight (8) of them participated in the examination test held after the lectures.
The following succeeded in the test and they will be awarded a FA Norm, after the approval of the next FIDE Presidential Board:

seminar logoFrom 25 to 30 October 2016 the 48th Internet based FIDE Arbiters' Seminar was held, organized by the FIDE Arbiters' Commission and under the auspices of FIDE.

The lecturer and the Technical Organizer of the seminar was IA Mihail Prevenios (GRE), FIDE Lecturer and Assistant Lecturer was IA Sotiris Logothetis (GRE).

The Lectures were in English language.

Thirty-four (34) Arbiters from seventeen (17) Federations (Costa Rica, England, Ethiopia, Finland, Ghana, Greece, India, Ireland, Italy, Kenya, Kuwait, Netherlands Antilles, New Zealand, South Africa, Russia, South Sudan and Zimbabwe) attended the seminar on Internet and participated in the
examination test held after the lectures.

The following succeeded in the test and will be awarded a norm for the title of FIDE Arbiter, after the approval of the next FIDE Congress:
