FIDE Arbiters' Seminar in Glasgow, SCOTLAND

seminar logoFrom 2 to 4 February 2018 a FIDE Arbiters' Seminar was organized in Glasgow, Scotland, by the Chess Scotland Arbiters' Committee, in cooperation with the Scotland Chess Federation and under the auspices of FIDE.

The venue of the Seminar was the 10 Chrighton Green, Uddingston G71 6TU.

The Lecturer was IA Alex McFarlane (SCO), FIDE Lecturer and the Assistant Lecturer was IA Lara Barnes (ENG).

The lectures were in the English language.

Eight (8) people from England, Scotland and Romania participated in the Seminar and in the examination test held after the lectures.
The following succeeded in the examination test and will be awarded a norm for the title of FIDE Arbiter after the approval of the next FIDE Presidential Board:

2018 RUSSIA-MOSCOW 1 FIDE Arbiters Seminar-1

From 31 January to 04 February 2018 a FIDE Arbiters' Seminar was organized in Moscow, Russia, by the Russian Chess Federation, under auspices of FIDE

The lecturer was IA Tkachev, Alexander (RUS), FIDE Lecturer, and Assistant lecturer was IA Staratorzhskiy, Vladimir (RUS).

The language of the Seminar was Russian.

Eighteen (18) National Arbiters from two (2) Federations (RUS, UZB) participated in the seminar and thirteen (13) of them participated in the examination test, held after the end of the lectures.
The following succeeded in the test and will be awarded a norm for the FIDE Arbiter title, after the approval of the next FIDE Presidential Board:

FIDE Arbiters Seminar-PERU 2018

From 29 January to 4 February 2018 a FIDE Arbiters' Seminar was organized in Lima, Peru by the Peru Chess Federation (Federación Deportiva Peruana de Ajedrez, FDPA) and under the auspices of FIDE.

The Lecturer of the seminar was IA Jose Martinez Garcia (MEX), FIDE Lecturer. The Assistant Lecturer was IA Jorge Luis Vergara Palomino (PER).

The venue of the Seminar was Colegio Claretiano in Lima, Peru.

The lectures were in Spanish language.

Nine (9) people from Peru participated in the Seminar and all of them participated in the examination test, held after the end of the lectures.
The following succeeded in the test and they will be awarded a norm for the title of the FIDE Arbiter, after the approval of the next FIDE Presidential Board:

From 26 to 28 January 2018 a FIDE Arbiters' Seminar was organized in Chennai, India, by the Tamil Nadu State Association, in cooperation with the All India Chess Federation and under the auspices of FIDE.

The venue of the Seminar was the Royal Regency Hotel, in Chennai.

The Lecturer was IA Prof. R. Anatharam (IND), FIDE Arbiters' Commission Councillor and FIDE Lecturer and Assistant Lecturer was IA Dharmendra Kumar (IND).

The lectures were in the English language.

Fifty six (56) people from India participated in the Seminar and in the examination test held after the lectures.

FIDE Arbiters Seminar- Bangkok THAILAND 2018

From 19 to 21 January 2018 a FIDE Arbiters' Seminar was organized in Bangkok, Thailand by the Thailand Chess Association in cooperation with the Asian Chess Federation and under the auspices of FIDE.

The Lecturer of the seminar was IA Casto Abundo (PHI), FIDE Lecturer.

The venue of the Seminar was the Thailand Chess Association office.

The lectures were in English language with Thai translation.

Nineteen (19) people from Thailand participated in the Seminar and all of them participated in the examination test, held after the end of the lectures.
The following succeeded in the test and they will be awarded a norm for the title of the FIDE Arbiter, after the approval of the next FIDE Presidential Board:
