2017 INDIA 4      FIDE Arbiters Seminar-2

From 27 to 30 December 2017 a FIDE Arbiters' Seminar was organized in Guwahati, India, by the All India Chess Federation and under the auspices of FIDE.

The venue of the Seminar was the Sports Authority of India Regional Centre, in Guwahati

The Lecturer was IA Gopakumar M.S. (IND), FIDE Lecturer and Assistant Lecturer was IA Swapnil Bansod (IND).

The lectures were in the English language.

Thirty (30) people from India participated in the Seminar and in the examination test held after the lectures.

The following succeeded in the test and they will be awarded a FIDE Arbiter Norm, after the approval of the next FIDE Presidential Board:

2017 PAKISTAN FIDE Arbiters seminar

From 10 to 11 December 2017 a FIDE Arbiters' Seminar was organized in Karachi, Pakistan by the Sindh Chess Association, Karachi Chess Association and Pakistan Chess Academy, in cooperation with the Chess Federation of Pakistan, the Asian Chess Federation and under the auspices of FIDE.

The Lecturer of the seminar was IA Casto Abundo (PHI), FIDE Lecturer. Assistant Lecturer was IA Muhammad Wasif (PAK).

The venue of the Seminar was the IQRA University in Karachi.

The lectures were in English language.

Twenty four (24) people from Pakistan participated in the Seminar and all of them participated in the examination test, held after the end of the lectures.

The following succeeded in the test and they will be awarded a norm for the title of the FIDE Arbiter, after the approval of the next FIDE Presidential Board:

From 12to 18 November 2017 a FIDE Arbiters' Seminar was organized in Hong Kong, by the Hong Kong Chess Federation and under auspices of FIDE.

The lecturer was IA K.K. Chan (HKG), FIDE Lecturer and Assistant Lecturer was FA Robin Lai (HKG).

The venue of the Seminar was the Hong Kong Government Sports Complex facility in North Point on the main Hong Kong Island.

The lectures were in English language.

Ten (10) people from Hong Kong participated in the Seminar and all of them participated in the examination test that was held after the end of the lectures.

FIDE Arbiters Seminar-Abijan COTE D IVOIRE 2017

From 26 to 29 October 2017 a FIDE Arbiters' Seminar was organized in Abidjan, Ivory Coast, by the Ivory Coast Chess Federation and under the auspices of FIDE.

The venue of the Seminar was the Olympic Village for the Francophone Games, in Abidjan.

The lecturer was IA Stephen Boyd (FRA), FIDE Lecturer and Assistant Lecturer was IA Lekan Adeyemi (NGR).

The lectures were in French and in English language.

Fifteen (15) Arbiters from Ivory Coast, Togo, Ghana, Nigeria and Sao Tome and Principe participated in the Seminar and in the examination test, held after the end of the lectures.

The following succeeded in the test and will be awarded a norm or the title of FIDE Arbiter, after the approval of the next FIDE Presidential Board:
