FIDE Arbiters' Seminar in Suzdal, RUSSIA

2016 RUSSIA-SUZDAL FIDE Arbiters  Seminar-1
From 31 July to 4 August 2016 a FIDE Arbiters' Seminar was organized in Suzdal, Russia, by the Russian Chess Federation and under the auspices of FIDE.

The Lecturer was IA Alexander Tkachev (RUS), FIDE Lecturer, and Assistant Lecturer was IA Alexander Ivanov (RUS).

The language of the Seminar was Russian.

Seven (7) national arbiters from Russia participated in the Seminar and all of them took part in the examination test held after the lectures.
The following succeeded in the test and they will be awarded a FA Norm, after the approval of the next FIDE Congress:

seminar logoFrom 8 to10 July 2016 a FIDE Arbiters' Seminar was organized in Benasque, Spain, by the Spanish Chess Federation and under auspices of FIDE.

The lecturer was IA Jesus Mena (ESP), FIDE Arbiters' Commission Councilor and FIDE Lecturer and Assistant Lecturer was IA Valerio de la Cruz (ESP).

The lectures were in Spanish language.

Four (4) Arbiters from Spain participated in the Seminar and all of them participated in the examination test, held after the end of the lectures. The following succeeded in the test and will be awarded a norm for the title or the FIDE Arbiter, after the approval of the next FIDE Congress:

seminar logoFrom 29 June to 3July 2016 a FIDE Arbiters' Seminar was organized in Radebeul, Germany, by the German Chess Federation and under auspices of FIDE.

The seminar was held during the World Chess Championship for 50+ and 65+, in the same venue.

The lecturer was IA Juergen Kohlstaedt (GER), FIDE Lecturer and Assistant Lecturers were IA Ralph Alt (GER), IA Jens Wolter (GER).

The lectures were in German language.

Thirteen (13) National Arbiters from Germany and Switzerland participated in the seminar. Seven (7) of them participated in the examination test, held after the end of the lectures. The following succeeded in the test and will be awarded a norm for the FIDE Arbiter title, after the approval of the next FIDE Congress:

From 22 to 27 June 2016 a FIDE Arbiters' Seminar was organized in Silver Lake, Serbia, by the Serbian Chess Federation and under the auspices of FIDE.

The Lecturer of the seminar was IA Viron Tsorbatzoglou (GRE), FIDE Lecturer and Assistant Lecturers were IA Branislav Suhartovic (SRB) and IA Zoran Bojovic (SRB).

The venue of the Seminar was the Danubian Park Garni Hotel in Silver Lake, Serbia.

The lectures were given in English language, with translation into Serbian language.

Eleven (11) people from Montenegro, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Serbia, Bulgaria and Slovenia participated in the Seminar and all of them participated in the examination test, held after the end of the lectures.

The following succeeded in the test and will be awarded a norm for the FIDE Arbiter title, after the approval of the next FIDE Congress:

seminar logoFrom 26 to 29 May 2016 a FIDE Arbiters' Seminar was organized in Sharjah, UAE, by the UAE Chess Federation and the Sharjah Chess and Culture Club and under auspices of FIDE.

The Lecturer of the seminar was IA Takis Nikolopoulos (GRE), FIDE Arbiters' Commission Chairman and FIDE Lecturer and Assistant Lecturers were IA Sultan Al Taher (UAE) and IA Anastasia Sorokina (AUS).

The venue of the Seminar was the Sharjah Chess and Culture Club in Sharjah, UAE.

The lectures were in English language, with translation into Arabic.

Thirty five (35) people from UAE, Syria, India, Philippines, Jordan, Iraq, Yemen and Somalia participated in the Seminar and twenty (20) of them participated in the examination test, held after the end of the lectures

The following succeeded in the test and they will be awarded a norm for the title of the FIDE Arbiter, after the approval of the next FIDE Congress:
