FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar in Lusaka, Zambia (August 2019) - Report

lusaka august2019 pic01From 1st to 4th August 2019 a FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar was organized in Lusaka (Zambia) by the Chess Federation of Zambia, under the auspices of FIDE.
The Lecturer was IA Gunther van den Bergh (RSA), FIDE Lecturer and the Assistants Lecturer were IA Nsakanya, Chanda (BOT) and IA Banda Aaron (BOT).
The language of the Seminar was English.
Thirteen (13) arbiters from Zimbabwe and Zambia participated in the Seminar and all of them participated in the examination test, held after the end of the lectures.
 
The following succeeded in the test and they will be awarded a norm for the title of the FIDE Arbiter, after the approval of the next FIDE Presidential Board:
