e) Regulations for the rating and the over‐the‐board titles.
f) Regulations for the titles of the Arbiters.

Day Four – October 4th
h) Anti‐cheating guidelines for Arbiters.
Seminar Exam
This 3rd webinar by the FIDE Arbiters’ Commission will focus on the selection of arbiters in FIDE Tournaments.
Following a request by the FIDE Council to explain the criteria for the selection of arbiters, Laurent Freyd, FIDE Arbiters’ Commission Chairman, and Nebojsa Baralic, FIDE Arbiters’ Commission Secretary, will try to give you a global overview on the topic “selections”:
- An analysis of the current regulations and practices
- A case study about the recent call of interest for the Chess Olympiad
- This will also be an opportunity to share a status on the transition to a more structured way of handling selections

A FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar is going to be organized from 1/11/2020 to 5/11/2020 in Samara, Russia, by the Chess Federation of Russia, under the auspices of FIDE.
The venue of the Seminar will be the Samara Region, p. Brightfield. The site of the sanatorium: www.newsanatory.ru.
The Lecturer will be IA/IO Tkachev, Alexander (RUS), FIDE Lecturer and assistant lecturers will be IA/IO Yanushevsky, Stanislav (RUS).
The language of the Seminar will be Russian.
The Seminar will give norms and titles of FIDE Arbiter, according to the Regulations for the titles of Arbiters.

03.11 (10.30 am – 4.30 pm) – Tournament Rules, System of Games, tie breaks.
04.11 (10.30 am – 4.30 pm) – Swiss system. Pairing rules, Regulations for the rating and the over-the-board titles, Regulations for the titles of the Arbiters, Use of the electronic clocks, Examination test.
