The 128th Internet-based FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar is going to be organized from 18/03/2023 to 29/03/2023 by the Portuguese Chess Federation, under the auspices of FIDE.
The Lecturer will be IA/IO Dias, Carlos Oliveira (POR), FIDE Lecturer and the Local Assistant Lecturer will be IA Rocha, Paulo (POR).
The language of the Seminar will be Portuguese.

The language of the Seminar will be Arabic.
The Seminar will give norms and titles of FIDE Arbiter, according to the Regulations for the titles of Arbiters.

The subjects will include
a) Laws of Chess (including Rapid, Blitz, etc), 4 hours;
b) Tournament Rules , 2 hours;
c) System of Games, tie breaks. 2 hours;
d) Swiss system and Pairing rules, 2 hours;
e) Regulations for the rating and the over‐the‐board titles, 2 hours;
f) Regulations for the titles of the Arbiters, 1 hour;
g) Anti cheating guidelines for Arbiters 1 hour; Exam 4 hours

The Lecturer will be IA/IO Abdulrahim, Mahdi (UAE), FIDE Lecturer, and Local Assistant Lecturer will be IA Alhammadi, Faisal (UAE).
The language of the Seminar will be Arabic.
