FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar in Tashkent - Report

2019-March-Tashkent-FIDE Arbiters Seminar-01The FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar was organized by the President of Zone 3.4 FIDE and Uzbekistan Chess Federation under the patronage of Asian Chess Federation and under the auspices of FIDE.
Seminar took place in the International Chess Academy of Uzbekistan on 12 – 14th March 2019 with participants from Afghanistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan. In total 15 arbiters took part in the Seminar.
The Lecturer was IA and IO Husan Turdialiev (UZB).
The Lecturer’s Assistant was IA and IO Mikhail Krjukov (RUS).
The Representative person from host Federation was Manager of Uzbekistan Chess Federation Irina Gevorgyan.
The seminar proceeded 3 days (18 hours).

FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar in Singapore - Report

20190212 singapore arbiters seminarFrom 25 to 27 January 2019 a FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar was organized in Singapore by the Singapore Chess Federation under the auspices of FIDE.
The venue of the Seminar was the Singapore Intellectual Games Center, in Singapore.
The Lecturer was IA Casto Abundo (PHI), FIDE Lecturer and Assistant Lecturers were IA Nisban Jasmin (SGP) and IA Tan Tian Wah (SGP).
The language of the Seminar was English.
Thirteen (13) Arbiters from Singapore, China and Malaysia participated in the Seminar and all of them participated in the examination test, held after the end of the lectures.

62nd Internet based FIDE Arbiters' Seminar - Report

seminar logoFrom 5-9 December 2018, the 62nd Internet based FIDE Arbiters' Seminar was organized by the Chess Confederation of America and under the auspices of FIDE.
The Lecturer of the seminar was IA Santiago Garcia Ramos (MEX), FIDE Lecturer, and the Technical Organizer was IA Jorge Vega Fernandez (GUA).
The lectures were in Spanish language.
Thirty (30) people from twelve (12) federations (VEN, ARG, HON, NCA, PER, COL, ARU, CHI, GUA, BOL, PAN and ECU) participated in the Seminar and twenty three (23) of them participated in the examination test, held after the end of the lectures.
The following succeeded in the test and they will be awarded a norm for the title of the FIDE Arbiter, after the approval of the next FIDE Congress:

FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar in Moscow (Russia) - Report

2019-moscow-fide arbiters seminar-05-dscn1320From 27 - 31 January 2019 a FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar was organized in Moscow (Russia) by the Russian Chess Federation, under auspices of FIDE.
The lecturer was IA Tkachev, Alexander (RUS), FIDE Lecturer, and Assistant lecturer was IA Tsypin, Vadim (CAN).
Program of the seminar:
27.01 – Day of arrival. 
28.01 - Laws of Chess (including Rapid, Blitz, etc) – Anti cheating guidelines for Arbiters 
29.01 - Tournament Rules, System of Games, tie breaks. 
30.01 - Swiss system. Pairing rules, Regulations for the rating and the over-the-board titles, Regulations for the titles of the Arbiters, Use of the electronic clocks, Examination test. 
31.01. - Day of departure


The language of the Seminar was Russian.
37 National Arbiters from three (3) Federations (RUS, ТКМ, KGZ) participated in the seminar.
19 of them participated in the examination test, held after the end of the lectures.
The following succeeded in the test and will be awarded a norm for the FIDE Arbiter title, after the approval of the next FIDE Presidential Board:

From 7 to 9 December 2018 a FIDE Arbiters' Seminar was organized in Manila, Philippines by the National Chess Federation of the Philippines in cooperation with the Asian Chess Federation and under the auspices of FIDE.

The Lecturer of the seminar was IA Casto Abundo (PHI), FIDE Lecturer.

The venue of the Seminar was the Philippine Sports Commission in Manila.

The lectures were in English language.

Seven (7) Arbiters from the Philippines participated in the Seminar and all of them participated in the examination test, held after the end of the lectures.

The following succeeded in the test and they will be awarded a norm for the title of the FIDE Arbiter, after the approval of the next FIDE Presidential Board:
