52nd CONFEDERATION of CHESS for AMERICA Internet based FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar

seminar logoFrom 4 to 9 July 2017 the 52nd Internet based FIDE Arbiters' Seminar was held, organized by the Confederation of Chess for America and under the auspices of FIDE.

The lecturer of the seminar was IA Santiago Garcia Ramos (MEX), FIDE Lecturer and Assistant Lecturer was IA Hector Mejia Espinal (HON).

The Technical Organizer was Juan Carlos Hernandez.

The Lectures were in Spanish language.

Twenty two (22) Arbiters from fourteen (14) federations (Argentina, Costa Rica, Honduras, Dominican Republic, Netherland Antilles, Chile, Mexico, Venezuela, Puerto Rico, Peru, Paraguay, Guyana, USA and Panama) attended the seminar on Internet and participated in the examination test held after the lectures.

The following succeeded in the test and will be awarded a norm for the title of FIDE Arbiter, after the approval of the next FIDE Congress:

2017 INDONESIA   FIDE Arbiters Seminar

From 11 to 15 July 2017 a FIDE Arbiters' Seminar was organized in Jakarta, Indonesia, by the Indonesian Chess Federation, in cooperation with the Gunadarma University and under the auspices of FIDE.

The Lecturer was IA Bunawan Bong (INA), FIDE Lecturer and Assistant Lecturer was IA Hamid Majid (MAS).

The lectures were in the English language with translation to Indonesian.

Twenty one (21) people from Indonesia and Malaysia participated in the Seminar and in the examination test held after the lectures. The following succeeded in the test and they will be awarded a FIDE Arbiter Norm, after the approval of the next FIDE Congress:

From 22 to 26 July 2017 a FIDE Arbiters' Seminar was organized in Astana, Kazakhstan, by the Kazakhstan Chess Federation, in cooperation with the Astana Chess Federation and under the auspices of FIDE.

The lecturer was IA Ashot Vardapetian (ARM), FIDE Rules Commission Chairman and FIDE Lecturer.

The lectures were in Russian language.

Twenty three (23) Arbiters from Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan participated in the Seminar

Eighteen (18) of them participated in the examination test, held after the end of the lectures and the following succeeded in the test and will be awarded a norm for the FIDE Arbiter title and after the approval of the next FIDE Congress:

seminar logoFrom 17 to 19 July 2017 a FIDE Arbiters' Seminar was organized in Ramat Hasharon, Israel, by the Israel Chess Federation and under auspices of FIDE.

The lecturer was IA Almog Burstein (ISR), FIDE Lecturer and Assistant Lecturers were IA Dr. Shlomo Kandelshine and IM Israel Gelfer.

Ten (10) people from Israel participated in the Seminar and all of them participated in the examination test, held after the end of the lectures.
