A FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar is going to be organised from 04/09/2025 to 07/09/2025 in Copenhagen, by the Danish Chess Federation, under the auspices of FIDE.

The Lecturer will be IA/IO Salama, Omar (ISL), FIDE Lecturer, and the Local Assistant Lecturer will be IA Jacobsen, Poul (DEN).

The language of the Seminar will be English.

The Seminar will give norms and titles of FIDE Arbiter, according to the Regulations for the titles of Arbiters.

18:00-22:00 Laws of Chess, Basic Rules of Play(4 hours)

Friday 5^th September

09:00-13:00 Laws of Chess, Competitive Rules of Play (4 hours)

15:00-17:00 System of games, Swiss Rules, chess clock (2 hours)

Saturday 6^th September

09:00-13:00 Arbiters’ titles (2 Hours), Fair Play guidelines for Arbiters (2 hours)

14:00-18:00 Titles (2.5 hours) and Ratings regulations (1.5 hours)

Sunday 7^thSeptember

09:00-13:00 Examination test (4 hours)
