FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar in Batumi (GEO) – June 2026 – Report
From 17th to 21st June 2026, a FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar was organized in Batumi, by the Georgian Chess Federation,, under the auspices of FIDE.
The Lecturer was IA Vardapetyan, Ashot (ARM), FIDE Lecturer and Local Assistant Lecturer was IA Arsenidze, Alexandre (GEO).
The language of the Seminar was Russian with translation into English.
Twenty-four (24) participants from three (3) federations (ARN, RUS, and GEO) participated in the Seminar and all of them participated in the examination test, held after the end of the lectures.
The following succeeded in the test and they will be awarded a norm for the title of the FIDE Arbiter, after the approval of the next FIDE Council:
