FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar in Almaty – August 2026 (KAZ) – Report

From 5th to 8th August 2026, a FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar was organized in Almaty, by the Kazakhstan Chess Federation, under the auspices of FIDE.

The Lecturer was IA Krjukov, Mikhail (RUS), FIDE Lecturer and Local Assistant Lecturer will be IA Babenko, Aleksander (KAZ).

The language of the Seminar was Russian.

Eight (8) participants from two (2) federations (KAZ and UZB) participated in the Seminar and all of them participated in the examination test, held after the end of the lectures.

The following succeeded in the test and they will be awarded a norm for the title of the FIDE Arbiter, after the approval of the next FIDE Council:
