FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar in Nouakchott (MTN) – August 2026 – Report
From 14th to 16th August 2026, a FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar was organized in Nouakchott (MTN), by the Mauritanian Chess Federation, under the auspices of FIDE.
The Lecturer was IA/IO Messaoudi, Bechir (TUN), FIDE Lecturer and Local Assistant Lecturer was IA Kreiked, Aly Moctar (MTN).
The language of the Seminar was French with translation into Arabic.
Seventeen (17) arbiters from MTN chess federation participated in the Seminar and sixteen (16) participated in the examination test, held after the end of the lectures.
The following succeeded in the test and they will be awarded a norm for the title of the FIDE Arbiter, after the approval of the next FIDE Council:
