Chanda Nsakanya is an International Arbiter (Cat-A), International Organizer and FIDE Trainer. He is working as a Rating Officer and he is a former Secretary General for Chess Federation of Zambia.
He has been Councillor of the FIDE TEC Commission 2014 – 2018.
The list of official International events for which he was an arbiter is quite impressive: FIDE World Cup 2019, World Olympiads 2008, 2010, 2012, 2014, 2016, 2018 & 2022 as Sector Arbiter. African Individual Chess Championships 2015 & 2019 (CA), African Youth Individual Chess Championships 2009, 2010, 2011 & 2016, World Youth Chess Championships 2014, African Junior 2014, Zone 4.3 Youth Under-16 Team Chess Championships 2017 and African Individual Amateur Chess Championship 2015.
The list of official International events for which he was an Organizer is quite impressive: 2022 African Youth Chess Championships, 2017 Zone 4.3 Individual Chess Championships, 2016 African Schools Individual Chess Championships, 2015 African Youth Chess Championships and 2011 African Youth Chess Championship.
Chanda has a Diploma in Business Administration.
