Jaroslav Benák is an assistant professor of constitutional law at Masaryk University in Brno (Czech Republic).
He is active in the Arbiters’ Commission of the Czech Chess Federation (member 2005-2012 and since 2019, chairman 2011-2012) where he is responsible for disciplinary matters and often gives lectures on FIDE Laws of Chess and various other topics at national seminars for arbiters of all levels.
Jaroslav has experience as an arbiter (FA 2008, IA 2009) from numerous national and international events, including the World Senior Team Championship 2020.
