Jiřina is a member of the Education team in the Commission. In addition to that she has experience as a member of continental and national arbiters’ commissions. She is full time focused on chess, also working for the Tornelo online platform.
In 2013 she was the first woman to gain a FIDE Arbiter title in the Czech Republic and today she is the youngest International Arbiter category A in the world.
She has been involved with every kind of national and international tournament – over the board, online and hybrid. This includes Continental and World events, as well as the last three Olympiads. She is keen to share her knowledge and actively participates in educating arbiters, in 2019 she became the youngest FIDE Lecturer.
She has a Master’s degree in Applied Physics, speaks English and some Russian. In her free time she likes to do hiking and yoga.
