Yolys is an Internacional Arbiter, FIDE Instructor and Woman Candidate Master.
She has represented Panama as the 3rd board in the 44th Chess Olympiad Chennai 2022. She was also the National Chess Sub-Champion of Panama in 2022.
She is the Rating Officer of Panama since 2021.
Experienced Chief Arbiter in several national events endorsed by the Panamanian Chess Federation, she has also taken part as an Arbiter in international events such as FIDE World School Chess Championship 2022, XVIII Youth Chess Festival of Central America and the Caribbean 2022, XVI American Continental Chess Championship 2023, among other events.
Thanks to the support of the Panamanian Chess Federation, Yolys has been giving Seminars and guiding National Arbiters who aspire to develop their careers. She has focused on the field of arbitering, working as Creator and facilitator for different seminars addressed to National Arbiters in the Americas – Spanish Language:

She has also participated as an Assistant Lecturer in several FIDE Arbiters’ Seminars valid for FIDE Arbiter norm. Yolys is getting prepared to become a FIDE Lecturer, as her next goal.
Having obtained a Bachelor of Accounting diploma, she also has a Master’s degree in Finance and Human Resources. In her spare time, she likes to read, share with friends, have a good cup of coffee, and enjoy nature.
