Mr. Yurii GNYP has Bachelor’s Degrees in Economics and Radio Engineering.
He previously held management positions in retail&wholesale business and Aviation University but last 12 years he works at Ukrainian Chess Federation. Within that period of time he has come a long way from the rating officer to the Executive Director and еру 1rst Vice President.
His expertise covers the full spectrum of chess activity: organizing seminars &tournaments, judging tournaments as well as rules translations and drafting local rules. Acting as the Fair play (Anticheating) Expert at World Chess Olympiads (2016-2022) Mr. Gnyp made a great contribution to FIDE Fair Play theory and practice.
