A FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar is going to be organised from 26/04/2025 to 29/04/2025 in Johannesburg, by the Chess South Africa, under the auspices of FIDE.

The Lecturer will be IA Gunther, van den Bergh (RSA), FIDE Lecturer.

The language of the Seminar will be English.

The Seminar will give norms and titles of FIDE Arbiter, according to the Regulations for the titles of Arbiters.

• Session 1: 0930-1100 (Tiebreaks + Hort system for prizes) (1.5h)
• Session 2: 1130-1300 (Arbiter titles + norms) (1.5h)
• Session 3: 1500-1700 (Player titles + norms) (2h)
• Session 4: 1730-1930 (Rating calculations) (2h)
