A FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar is going to be organised from 08/09/2025 to 11/09/2025 in Samarkand, by the Uzbekistan Chess Federation, under the auspices of FIDE.
The Lecturer will be IA Krjukov, Mikhail (RUS), FIDE Lecturer.
The language of the Seminar will be Russian.
The Seminar will give norms and titles of FIDE Arbiter, according to the Regulations for the titles of Arbiters.
Schedule:
08th September, 09:30 – 13:30: Laws of chess – part 1 (2 hours), Laws of chess – part 2 (2 hours)
9th September, 09:30 – 13:30: Tournament regulations (1 hour), Anti-Cheating guidelines (2 hours), Electronic chess clocks (1 hour), FIDE Arbiter’s Disciplinary Regulations (1 hour), Classification of Arbiters (0,5 hour)
10th September, 09:30 – 10:30: Regulations for the titles of Arbiters (1 hour), FIDE Rating and titles regulations (2 hours), System of games and tie breaks (1 hour), Swiss system and pairing rules (2 hours),
11th September, 09:30 – 10:30: Chess terms in English (1 hour)
11th September, 10:30 – 14:30 Exam (4 hours)
