FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar in Ulaanbaatar (MGL)

A FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar is going to be organized from 27/10/2025 to 01/11/2025 in Ulaanbaatar, by the Mongolian Chess Federation, under the auspices of FIDE.
The Lecturer will be IA Pahlevanzadeh, Mehrdad (IRI), FIDE Lecturer, and the Local Assistant Lecturer will be IA Altan-Och, Genden (MGL).
The language of the Seminar will be English.
The Seminar will give norms and titles of FIDE Arbiter, according to the Regulations for the titles of Arbiters.

14:00-17:00 Laws of Chess
17:15 – 20:15 Laws of Chess (including Rapid, Blitz and Cases)
Thursday 30th October
14:00 – 15:20 Competition Rules and standards of chess equipment
15:30 – 17:00 System of Games, tie breaks
17:15 – 18:30 Regulation for the rating and the OTB titles
18:40 – 20:15 Swiss system and pairing rules with case studies
Friday 31th October
14:00-15:20 Anti-cheating guidelines for arbiters
15:30 – 16:00 Use of Electronic Clocks
16:00 – 18:00 Regulations for the titles of the arbiters

Saturday 01th November
18:00 – 22:00 Exam
