FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar in Victoria Falls (ZIM)

A FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar is going to be organized from 26/04/2024 to 28/04/2024 in Victoria Falls (Zimbabwe), by the Vic Falls Sports Academy and Zimbabwe Chess Federation, under the auspices of FIDE.
The Lecturer will be IA van den Bergh, Gunther (RSA), FIDE Lecturer and Assistant Lecturer will be IA/IO Nsakanya, Chanda (ZAM), Lecturer Training Program.
The language of the Seminar will be English.
The Seminar will give norms and titles of FIDE Arbiter, according to the Regulations for the titles of Arbiters.

Session 1 : 09:30-11:00 (Tiebreaks + Hort system for prizes)
Session 2: 11:30-13:00 (Arbiter titles + norms)
Session 3: 14:00-15:30 (Player titles + norms)
Session 4: 16:00-17:30 (Rating calculations)
Session 5: 19:00-21:00 (Swiss, Round-Robin, other pairings)

Session 6: 09:30-11:00 (Anticheating, Hybrid, Online + fairplay)
Session 7: 11:30-13:00 (Competition reg, equipment, etc.)
Session 8: 14:00-15:30 (Pairing software, Laws)
Session 9: 16:00-17:30 (Laws of Chess)
Session 10: 19:00-21:00 (Laws of Chess)
