221st Internet-based FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar (ZIM) – Report

The 221st Internet Based FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar (ZIM) was held from 20th to 23rd March 2026. It was organized by the Gift of Chess and Zimbabwe Chess Federation, under the auspices of FIDE.

The Lecturer was IA/IO Sorokina, Anastasia (AUS), FIDE Lecturer, and Assistant Lecturer was IA Bansod Swapnil (IND), FIDE Lecturer.

The Language of the Seminar was English.

Seventeen (17) arbiters from nine (9) national chess federations (ALG, GHA, GRE, IND, KEN, MYA, RSA, UGA, and ZIM), participated in the Seminar, and all of them participated in the examination test, held after the end of the lectures.

The following succeeded in the test and they will be awarded a norm for the title of the FIDE Arbiter, after the approval of the next FIDE Council:
