218th Internet-based FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar (Chess South Africa) – Report
The 218th Internet Based FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar (Chess South Africa) was held from 20th to 28th March 2026. It was organized by the Chess South Africa, under the auspices of FIDE.
The Lecturer was IA van den Bergh, Gunther (RSA), FIDE Lecturer.
The Language of the Seminar was English.
Seventeen (17) arbiters from seven (7) federations (CRO, ENG, GER, JAM, KOR, POR, and RSA) participated in the Seminar, and all of them participated in the examination test, held after the end of the lectures.
The following succeeded in the test and they will be awarded a norm for the title of the FIDE Arbiter, after the approval of the next FIDE Council:
