FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar in Mississauga (CAN) – Report

From 10th to 12th April 2026, a FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar was organized in Mississauga (Canada), by the Chess Federation of Canada, under the auspices of FIDE.

The Lecturer was IA Bond, Hal (CAN), FIDE Lecturer, and the Local Assistant Lecturer was IA Shah, Omaray M. (CAN)..

The language of the Seminar was English.

Six (6) arbiters from Chess federations of Canada participated in the Seminar and all of them participated in the examination test, held after the end of the lectures.

The following succeeded in the test and they will be awarded a norm for the title of the FIDE Arbiter, after the approval of the next FIDE Council:
