Marin is an experienced team leader in the field of software development. Besides this, he works as a professor at the University of Tirana where he has finished his studies in Computer Science.
Marin grew up with the love for chess, which is an important part of his life. He has been an International Arbiter since 2019. Served as Chief Arbiter in many local tournaments, Match Arbiter in two Olympiads (2018,2022), Sector Arbiter in European Individual Chess Championship 2019 and arbiter in many other International and Continental tournaments. He also is Rating Officer of the Albania Chess Federation and has the title of Developmental Instructor and School Instructor.
