Genden Oyunchimeg

Oyunchimeg Genden is International Arbiter (IA), FIDE Instructor (FI), Women national master (WNM), and Mongolian national chess champion (1991).

She graduated from the National University of Mongolia as a geophysicist (Bachelor’s degree) and from the National Academy of Governance as a Public administration manager.

She has been employed in public service for 25 years:

  • The State Committee of physical culture and Sports as the Specialist in Human Resources,
  • the State Property Committee as a Specialist in Human Resources and Information,
  • the State central newspaper as Operator-correspondent,
  • Renewable Energy Institute as a Researcher,
  • a Chess player in youth selected National Chess team

She has experience working Mongolian Chess Federation as the Manager (2015-2016), General director, and trainer at “Oyunchess” LLC (2018-now), and has been working as a Lecturer of Seminars for Arbiters, organized by MCF in Mongolia.

Regarding her experience, she has participated in the following international events as an arbiter (deputy chief, and chief arbiter): World Chess Olympiad (2022), World Youth and Cadet Chess Championships (2014, 2019), FIDE Zone 3.3 (2019), World Summer Universiade (2013), World University Championships (2003), Asian Junior and Youth Chess Championship (2015, 2016, 2018), East Asian Youth Chess Championship (2016), Chief Arbiter in Mongolian national championship’s finals (2008-2010, 2012-2017, 2022), Chinggis Invitational (2018) and MICA open FIDE rated tournaments, etc.

  • FIDE Trainer’s seminar in Norway (2014).
