FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar in Cairo (AIDEF) – Report
From 12th to 14th July 2025, a FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar was organized in Cairo, by the Francophone Chess Association (AIDEF) and Adly Chess Academy, under the auspices of FIDE.
The Lecturer was IA Anastasia, Sorokina (AUS), FIDE Lecturer, and the Local Assistant Lecturer was IA Hawas, Khaled (EGY).
The language of the Seminar was English.
Six (6) arbiters from Egypt participated in the Seminar and five (5) participated in the examination test, held after the end of the lectures.
The following succeeded in the test and they will be awarded a norm for the title of the FIDE Arbiter, after the approval of the next FIDE Council:
