FIDE Arbiters' Seminar in Lilongwe (Malawi) - CANCELLED @ Lilongwe, Malawi

The FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar is going to be organized from 20/5/2021 to 23/5/2021 in Lilongwe, Malawi, by the Chess Association of Malawi, under the auspices of FIDE.
The Lecturer will be IA/IO Messaoudi, Bechir (TUN), FIDE Lecturer and assistant lecturers will be IA Mkumbwa Gilton (MAW).
The language of the Seminar will be English with translation into French.
The Seminar will give norms and titles of FIDE Arbiter, according to the Regulations for the titles of Arbiters.

8.00-10.30: Rating Regulations
11.00-13.30: Swiss Pairing System, Tie Break Rules, and FIDE Tournament Rules
13.30-14.30: Electronic Chess Clocks

22.5.2021:
08.00-9.30: Titles of the Players
10-12 Laws of Chess
12:30-14:30: Disciplinary Regulations, Anti Cheating Guidelines & Titles of the Arbiters

23.5.2021:
8.00-10.30: Standards of Chess equipment – Final Discussion

The 100th Internet based FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar is going to be organized from 05/06/2021 to 13/06/2021 by the Southwestern Ontario Chess League and Chess Federation of Canada, under the auspices of FIDE.
