FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar in Foz do Iguaçú, Paraná – Brazil (BRA/CCA) – Report

From 26th to 30th May 2025, a FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar was organized in Foz do Iguaçú, Paraná – Brazil (BRA/CCA), by the Confederation of Chess for Americas and Brasilian Chess Federation, under the auspices of FIDE.

The Lecturer was IA/IO Pingas, Blas Mariano (ARG), FIDE Lecturer and the Local Assistant Lecturer was IA Rietter, Luciano (BRA).

The language of the Seminar was Portuguese.

Four (4) participants from Brazil participated in the Seminar and all of them participated in the examination test, held after the end of the lectures.

The following succeeded in the test and they will be awarded a norm for the title of the FIDE Arbiter, after the approval of the next FIDE Council:
