220th Internet-based FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar (ITA) – Report
The 220th Internet Based FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar (ITA) was held from 26th to 29th March 2026. It was organized by the Italian Chess Federation, under the auspices of FIDE.
The Lecturer was IA Freyd, Laurent (FRA), FIDE Lecturer, and Assistant Lecturer was IA/IO Bertagnolli, Gerhard (ITA), FIDE Arbiters’ Lecturer Training Programme.
The Language of the Seminar was English.
Nineteen (19) arbiters from seven (7) national chess federation (AUT, IND, ITA, MAS, PAK, TUR, and URU) participated in the Seminar, and all of them participated in the examination test, held after the end of the lectures.
The following succeeded in the test and they will be awarded a norm for the title of the FIDE Arbiter, after the approval of the next FIDE Council:
