223rd Internet-based FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar (Ecuador) – Report

The 223rd Internet Based FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar (Ecuador) was held from 4th to 10th May 2026. It was organized by the Ecuador Chess Federation, under the auspices of FIDE.

The Lecturer was IA/IO Hermida, Marcelo Mariano (ARG), FIDE Lecturer.

The Language of the Seminar was Spanish.

Fourteen (14) arbiters from seven (7) chess federations (ARG, BRA, CHI, COL, ECU, ESP, and MEX) participated in the Seminar, and all of them participated in the examination test, held after the end of the lectures.

The following succeeded in the test and they will be awarded a norm for the title of the FIDE Arbiter, after the approval of the next FIDE Council:
