230th Internet-based FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar (WOM) – Report

The 222nd Internet Based FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar (WOM) was held from 10th to 12th July 2026. It was organized by the FIDE Commission for Women’s Chess , under the auspices of FIDE.

The Lecturer was IA IA Nikolopoulos, Panagiotis (GRE), FIDE Lecturer, and Local Assistant Lecturer was IA Biagioli, Marco (ITA). 

The Language of the Seminar was English.

Twenty two (22) Women National Arbiters from nineteen (19) chess federations from all over the world (BAN, BRA, BOT, BUL, CHI, CHN, ENG, GHA, GRE, GUY, IND, MAS, MGL, MLT, SRI, THA, TUR, UGA, and ZIM) participated in the Seminar and twenty-one (21) participated in the examination test, which was held after the end of the lectures, according to the Arbiters’ Commission guidelines and covering all the topics of the seminar.

The following succeeded in the test and they will be awarded a norm for the title of the FIDE Arbiter, after the approval of the next FIDE Council:
