FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar in Freetown, Sierra Leone (September 2019) – Report

freetown september2019 pic01From 5th to 12th September 2019 a FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar was organized in Freetown (Sierra Leone) by the Sierra Leone Chess
Federation, under the auspices of FIDE.
The venue of the Seminar was Hotel Barmoi in Freetown.
The Lecturer was IA Messaoudi, Bechir (TUN), FIDE Lecturer and the Assistant Lecturer was IA Kpan Deckalet Mario Prosper (CIV).
The language of the Seminar was English with translation to French.
Ten (10) arbiters from Nigeria, Liberia, Cameroun, Togo and Sierra Leone Chess Federations participated in the Seminar and seven of them participated in the examination test, held after the end of the lectures.

The following succeeded in the test and they will be awarded titles and norms for the title of the FIDE Arbiter, after the approval of the next FIDE Congress:
