FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar in Durban (RSA) – Report
From 1st to 4th July 2024, a FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar was organized in Durban, by the KwaZulu Natal Chess Association and Chess South Africa, under the auspices of FIDE.
The Lecturer was IA van den Bergh, Gunther (RSA), FIDE Lecturer.
The language of the Seminar was English.
Thirteen (13) arbiters from two national federations (RSA and FID) participated in the Seminar and all of them participated in the examination test, held after the end of the lectures.
The following succeeded in the test and they will be awarded a norm for the title of the FIDE Arbiter, after the approval of the next FIDE Council:
