FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar in Beirut (LBN) – Report
From 28th to 30th June 2024, a FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar was organized in Beirut, by the Lebanese Chess Federation, under the auspices of FIDE.
The Lecturer was IA Pahlevanzadeh, Mehrdad (IRI), FIDE Lecturer, and Local Assistant Lecturer was be IA/IO Khairallah, Elias (LBA).
The language of the Seminar was English with translation into Arabic..
Nineteen (19) arbiters from six (6) national federations (ALG, EGY, IRQ, PLE, SYR, ZIM, and LBN) participated in the Seminar and all of them participated in the examination test, held after the end of the lectures.
The following succeeded in the test and they will be awarded a norm for the title of the FIDE Arbiter, after the approval of the next FIDE Council:
